This is something you cannot erase. This is a sensor that has gone out. Now - you can have it repaired on the dealership of your choice - and pay through the teeth for them to do it ---orrr - you can buy the sensor yourself and put it in yourself and save yourself approx. 85% of the cost.

Your sensor is approx $120 (depending on where you get it) and any Autozone will have it. Sensors are not hard to put in - you unplug the other one and plug a new one in.

Or Plan B - You can take it to a dealership and have them do it for : The sensor they will over charge you for by a 100% - 200% (Meaning: the sensor will cost you $240 - $360). You will then have to pay them a large fee (somewhere around $300-$500) to put it in for you. You will now have spend $540-$860 for a $120 part you could have easily plugged in yourself.
