Document everything. I mean it, write everything down. Buy a microcassette recorder and keep it in your pocket, turn it on secretly when the abuse starts. Leave it on when you report the abuse to your boss.

Once everything is documented, make two copies (tapes too!) - put one in a safe place, give the other to your boss' boss.

Depending on what the abuse is you may have a case for the employer allowing a Hostel Work Environment to exist. Document the instances and if possible witnesses (especially non employees would be good). Gather information and facts about the laws pertaining to work environment. Get advice from a lawyer specializing in that field-or maybe the Civil Liberties Union?

How do you mean abusive? You have the right to safety at your job. If you have an HR Department get them involved. If you don't contact the labor board. You may lose your job (which you can file charges for later) but that abusive employee will also be gone.
