How did everyone get to start naming the "real" Siamese Fighting Fish. I have heard different people say Chinese Fighting Fish, Japanese Fighting Fish and Mexican Fighting Fish.
There is only one FIGHTING FISH. Which is betta splendens. The scientific name is SIAMese Fighting Fish. Siam is not formerly know as Thailand.

Name it with chinese names, such as Mao (as suggested by the first one). I would also like people's names such as Zhang or Lu or Sun (not the heavenly body SUN, it is a chinese name).
