everyother contact i have see's me and can talk to me.....i have to send a message to my wife first inorder for her to be about to talk back....my daughter was also hitting the keyboard on my wifes computer when she was talking to me....maybe she did something??

Probably she did not add you to her contact list. Ask her to add you again.

If you are using a Router, you may have to configure it properly to allow your wife to see you on your own network.

Here's a test. Have her IM you. IF you can't see her, it's the router. Read the router User Manual for info on "opening Ports" for MSN.

But, if she still can't see you, it's her IM connection settings. Compare them to yours, correct them, and that should fix it.

did your wife add you to her contact list? she can accept you adding her to your contact list without having you on her contact list.
