My bank is Wachovia, when they wish to communicate (new online statement available or "secure" message available) they send a message with an embedded link to their login screen. This is EXACTLY what a phishing email would do and it is impossible to tell whether it is the real site or the fake. I have emailed them about it but they continue to send these.

Does anyone know if banks are required to adhere to some kind of standard online security practices and who would be interested in hearing about his lapse?

My dog is a poodle with curly hair and he tends to get matted fur and knots in his fur on his rear end. Are there any home remedies or anything to get rid of them? I heard baby oil takes them out?

this question is really a repeat of someone else's awhile back...but as I sit in my sunroom and watch the activity outside it made me think of it, once again. Pine trees waving in the breeze' squirrels running and looking for food; folk walking their dogs; nests in trees now abandoned for the winter.

When I was in prechool some years ago we made paper plate art. We drew on paper plates and somehow they gave us back a plastic plate with our art work on it. I would like to do this now with my preschool class but cant remeber how. Does anyone know how?

My husband and I try to split up all of our holidays between our families. For the past 3 years we've always gone to his side of the family for Christmas Eve/Morning as they usually plan big events, whereas my family is more laid back and intimate. This year his mother told every one to do what they wanted, when secretly she meant she wanted us to come to her mother's house to see her brother we've never met. I'm ok with that except for the fact that she did the typical woman thing and said one thing but really meant another, and then got mad when no one was able to read in between the lines. So now the decision has basically been made for us that we are going to be there. I haven't been able to share Christmas Eve/morning with my family in a few years and now feel aggravated that I won't be able to again this year. My parents have been through a lot of hell this year...and even a near divorce. They are doing much better and I'm feeling disgruntled that we aren't going to be there.

My friend says that Stallions are a breed of horse. But I told him thats stupid and not true because Stallions are male horses that havnt been castrated... I have this friend from church. Earlier today, at lunch, he got the cookie I had on my plate--I mean I knew it was all in good fun! I tried a little sarcasm, 'cause I don't get to tease that much, they say. Said I was always serious. So, I told him, "Why don't you go get me a drink, since you took my cookie?" I said that in a joking way! He took it seriously, came back and dumped a lot of cookies on my plate and nearly splashed the drink he had in his hand! He was like "You don't want to share a cookie, fine! Here you go! I'll supply you with a load of cookies, if that's what you want, and here's you drink!" I went after him and said that I was just joking! He won't talk to me! He told me not to make him raise his voice!
That was my idea of a joke! I never thought he'd take me seriously at that! Man, I feel so stupid! What do I do?
