Yes, and there are slots in the Wii to plug in gamecube controllers. If you have a Wii you have absolutley no reason to have a gamecube!

yes, Wii have backward compability, so you can play gamecube game,
i already try it with Resident Evil 0, and it work perfectly,
but you need gamecube controller and memory card to play the game

where to plug in gc controllers: there is 2 door things on the top of the wii that have a left hinge and open that way from the right.
how to put in disc: same as wii game
