And would he be good enough to play in an English team today? If he would, what's the best team he could play for? Because he was only like 5"6 or something, which makes it hard to believe he was actually a keeper!

Some things are just impossible. They cannot logically exist.

For example the old "triangle/square" analogy, where someone says, if god can do anything, can he make square triangles?

This is a stupid question, of course not. They are impossible!

There is no way to make a square triangle; it’s a contradiction in terms. Squares and triangles are mutually exclusive! Not even "god" could reconcile them.

It is impossible to be all powerful, because some things simply cannot be done.

I've just read an answer to a question about Atheists/Agnostics, the answerer said that non-believers "lead sinful lives".
This isn't the only time I have seen so-called religious and spiritual people making nasty and spiteful comments.
So why do religious people think that Atheists are evil? I'm not evil and nearly all the people I know are Atheists and they're not evil either.
Why do people think that Atheists are incapable of love and compassion? I love my family and friends very much and I'm always nice to people when I meet them. I regularly donate money to charity and I have given blood before. I never hurt people, I don't steal, I don't have loads of one-night stands and I try to be a good person wherever I go.
So why do you think that we are all evil and sinful because we don't believe in God?

hi, i sign into msn but as soon as a window is opened to talk to someone it closes it says:
messanger has stoped working
a problem has caused the program to stop working correctly
windows will close the program and notify you if there is a solution is availabe.
then i have to close it all down! x

The other night this guy grabbed my one of my boobs. I yelled at him but then he texted me last night and was like: I wanted to get with you the other night and I liked grabbing you. Your credit card company marks your credit card as "lost or stolen" just because you are using it in a different town than you live, resulting in you being denied use of your card in front of your associates?

Bank of America does this ALL THE TIME and it's starting to really PISS ME OFF! Hello! I travel and I use a credit card when I do so. Also, most theives are not going to use the card to buy $20 meal and small purchase of gas -- they're going to make a HUGE purchase (or ATM) and then ditch the cards.

Anyone else experienced this BS from BOA?

Looking back I can see where I ignored all the red flags, so try not to beat me up here. I know...

A part of me feels flattered that this guy worked so hard to hook me in, but another part of me just feels angry, vengeful, and obsessed. I am no angel here. I flirted with him too, but it turns out that our romance meant more to me than it did to him. Grrrr...

Have you been there? How did shake off these negative feelings?

If I can let go of this negativity and stop beating up on myself, then at least I will unblock and write and sing about my experience. Right now I just want to expose the guy and strangle him. Not good...:)

Whenever you hear talk about aliens, its always about them being so advanced, and so amazing.

Who's to say we arn't 10x as advanced as them?

Are humans just so slow intellectually compared to other "beings" out there?

I have a 4 month old & just realized that I need to make or buy something special from her to all of her grandparents. I'm not talking about anything elaborate or expensive. Something simple, meaningful, & could possibly be homemade. I'm very crafty so I can do just about anything I put my mind to, with her help. I know she's so young but she can be a part in it & it's mainly for the thought. I need some ideas! This is so last minute, so remember it can't be anything like embroidery or anything that would require delivery. And, no ornament ideas because some of them don't put up Christmas trees. Any ideas? Handprints? Anything???

P.S. No rude comments by the way! If you don't have any REAL advice, save it!

Okay, if you're a good driver, can you explain this to me? Is it true what they said on the movie Cars where they're talking about how when you go fast enough, you turn a hard right to go left because of the friction involved (drifting). Is this scientifically valid, or is it just something the movie made up? I really can't tell!
