It is only in US it is called Soccer and all over the world it is
called Futbol or Football.

So I prefer to go with Soccer...played a lot when I was young
and never played American Foot ball!!!! but have been
watching it for the last 20+ years.

Soccer is the best sport in the world. It requires endurance, strength, power, finesse, skill, ball-handling, knowledge of the game, situational awareness, team spirit, and a load of other stuff. Plus, the combat isnt only against the other team; its against yourself, the conditions (ground soft/hardness, wind, temperature, rain/hail/sleet/snow, sunniness, ref likability, etc.) also, you play a much larger role in a team than you do in football. so, all in all, soccer is definately the better choice.
