Dear bros and siss...

Is it okay for a husband to stop his wife from meeting her relatives if they are alright and she likes them???




Especially if she has put up with her husbands relatives often executing bad behaviour towards her?

A "Wise King" devised a contest to see who would receive the Princess hand in marriage.

The Princess was put in a 50x50 foot carpeted room. Each of her four suitors were put in one corner of the room with a small box to stand on. The first one to touch the Princess hand would be the winner and become the new King.

The rules of the test were that the contestants could not walk over the carpet, cross the plane of the carpet, or hang from anything; nor could they use anything but their body and wits (i.e. no magic or telepathy, nor any items such as ladders, block and tackles, etc.).

One suitor figured out a way and married the Princess and became the new King.

How did he figure it out?

im an atheist and i go to church well last sunday i went and the sermen was about keeping the sabeth day holy and not working on it. after church i went with the preachers family ,cause im friends with his son, to go get some food then we went to the movies. isnt that kind of hipocritical? when we went to eat we forced other people t work on sunday by serving us when we went to the movies we did the same what are your thoughts? whats your stance on working on sunday(a question for religiou people)

i sanded table then scorched with a torch to darken the grain, buffed down and applied one coat of stain. Applied two coats of poly and got desired results. Applied with fine brush, but now the table is very rough

I am an application/technical support analyst basically help desk providing support for end users supporting about 350stores around the US etc etc you get the picture.
I am not happy with the company I'm with, I really like what I do and have grown so much in the position I'm in but the raises here are bad. I got a $.30 raise this yr with a meeting expectations review. People who have been here 8 years only make $1 more than me.

Conclusion: Its a small dept which would mean no room to move around AT ALL. raises wouldn't be that great next year either so I dont want to wait around. Been here 1 1/2 years and I think its time to move on.

So what would I tell my next employer why I'm leaving my position? I am applying for the same position with prospects of better pay and oppurtunity to move up. Can I say that?

Whenever his Mom introduces me to a family member or friend she says in English, "This is Lynn, Rob's girlfriend," then she continues on in her native language. I hear my name several more times, but have no idea what is being said about me. Boyfriend doesn't speak the langauge, so he doesn't know either.

Also, I was watching TV with Mom, boyfriend and Mom's friend once and even though both of them speak perfect English, they kept talking in the other language back and forth. It's her house, but I thought it was kind of rude.

What do you think?
