i am doing a remodel job on a8'by22'bedroom;and the carpet installer put carpet and padding down without tack strips,or glue;just loose fit laid it in there and told the homeowner to just put shoe moulding down to hold it in place.will this work,or was he being lazy?he said he couldn't get the nails into the old concrete.

Ok, long story short, my husband and I just lost a child. At the hospital we were given, along with the memory box, a 10x13-ish size card that says "In memory of..." and gives his name and birth stats, then at the very bottom has his hand and foot prints. Then we were given a large vase of flowers, and I decided to take one of the flowers and tape it in the center of the card and press it, then put the whole thing in a picture frame. It occurred to me that once the flower was flat and pressed, that I wasn't sure if I would be able to get it in the frame without losing half the petals. Does anyone know how to successfully do this? Thanks

I just saw two Shihapoos the other day that came from the same litter and they looked sooooo different? Why is that? I thought that if they were the same breed, a Shihapoo, that they would look the same?

Once when I was very young, about 4 or 5, I commented that I hated vanilla ice cream. I then proceeded to get a long drawn out lecture from my father on why I was not allowed to hate anything or anyone as the feeling of hate was something when we wish for the complete elimination of that thing or person. In other words murder or destruction.

Today hate is used to simply express disapproval. Or maybe it has been wrongly confused with intense dislike or disapproval.

Should we keep using "hate" so liberally.

This is for adults out there. Are you truly happy being LDS, or have you just always been around or raised into the religion?? I am wondering if there are people out there that truly believe that what happens in the Temple is a little creepy. What about G's..... (be honest)Or do you just shut your mouth and say " it was so special" uggg. Anyways I have been through the whole ordeal, (temple and G's)and lived in that religion for most of my adult life and can now see the light. Please answer truthfully, because I know that so many people feel trapped like robots. Thanks
