It appears that Dr. Phil is trying to save the whole world through psychology. What is your view of Dr. Phil?

Do you think he has all the answers?

Is he Mr. Perfect?

He does give good advice and for the most part I enjoy his show ...but sometimes he gets on a high horse and tries to be all bad ...and I don't like that approach he takes with people ...which I understand sometimes you have to get that way to make some people understand. I think he does good things for people. And I don't think his advice is better than any other doctor or counselor you would go see but he does have the financial means to help people and I believe his staff does make sure that people are working the program he gives them. His wife ....I think she is good hearted as well, but she is clearly a very spoiled woman....

Merry Christmas ~~~~

Dr. Phil has some great ideas and knows his stuff. His diet info about figuring out why you overeat and solving that to lose weight is pretty good stuff. No one is perfect but he has put in his time and is smart enough and educated enough to give some pretty good advice. I just don't want to listen to it all the time. Dr. Phil allowed me to look around and I found out that Jerry Springer is on at the same time. I don't want to watch that either but I really like Springer and he has so much more to offer than that stupid show. Both need to be moved on to something else.

Mr. Perfect? No way, none of us are perfect.
Does he have all the answers? No way, none of us do.
I agree with most of the things he says, most of the stuff is pretty obvious. I think he tells people how it is and how it should be( most of the time). I enjoy watching his shows. I think most people can learn something all most everyday by watching the show. The Dr. Phil show is my favorite talk show. There have been a few times that I totally disagreed with him but for the most part he is on target.

Dr. Phil jumped the shark when he started that Dr. Phil Family thing a couple of years ago. His show just gets more like Gerry Springer all the time.

In case you were not aware, his show is an "Oprah" production. He is just Oprah's puppet, and a crappy so-called "Psychologist" to boot! He must have got his degree from an Internet course, Or Oprah just brought him one, either way, this guy say's how thing's should be according to HIM, like his word comes straight from the Almighty. Half if not 3/4 of his advice is bull, and the rest is just nonsense. Like I said, he's a well-paid-puppet, and would most likely be running a "Hot dog-Stand" somewhere in the Bronx if it were not for Oprah, and her idea of a "Dr.Phill Show" like he is the answer to all that ails you. I have only seen 20 or 30 minutes of his show, and that is like 5 or 10 minutes 2 or 3 times. If he talked like he does to some of those people on stage to someone in the street, he would be eating threw a straw for at least 6 months. that's my take on the guy anyways. I wouldn't say he's Mr. Perfect. Who is, after all? He may not have all the answers, but I agree with most of his advice, and he's a very smart man who should be trusted.

He neither has all the answers nor does he believe himself to be perfect. What he does possess is a keen intellect and sharp mind and the ability to size up others (quite accurately) very quickly.
I get a kick out of listening to him. He's down to earth and unpretentious.

Personally, I prefer his wife, although in private life, he is far more reserved, and a typical person (with a strong moral fiber). TV is about entertainment, so don't confuse what sells on TV as a mission to save the world.

Mr Perfect?
No way. He's just some guy who is making tons of money playing "therapist".
Psychology? More like psychobabble and cheap manipulation.
Still he makes mindless entertainment (sometimes).
