Am I the only person on this site that despises the crockpot? I'm reading today & there are so many answers to put it in the crockpot. What do I do with these chicken breasts or loin chops? Put em in the freakin crockpot. If you put any kind of lean meat in a crockpot for 8-10 hours it might fall apart but it will be waaaaaaaayyyyyy overcooked & devoid of all flavor other than BBQ sauce you probably put in there with it. I've never been served a piece of meat from a crockpot that wasn't overcooked. Never! There's a huge difference between falling off the bone & being tender. I wish I had the capacity to explain how to grill these items. I don't know how to tell you when meat is cooked by the feel of it. And the grill is way healthier too. Please excuse my rambling.

I want to buy a house in the next year in california. I found one i want for appr. 100,000, and i could get it for less im sure. maybe 95,000. I am working on building my credit to where it needs to be so i can get approved for my loan, in the meantime, how much money should i expect to pay out monthly for a house this much. I have no idea what my interest rate will be, and i have 10,000 to put down but thats it. I am single and want to do this on my own, and if need be i can rent a room out to a friend until i get back on my feet. Should I be looking at putting back more than 2,000 a month? thats a lot and i dont think i can do that. I want a fixed rate 30 year home loan. i just need figures, and yes i will not be this naive when it comes down to it, just bored and curious as to what im looking at... thanks

Like when Defensive lineman are done, they go on offense and become offensive lineman, corner backs become wide receivers (like deion sanders), and other positions flip flop (where possible).......etc

how come football isn't played like that? is it because of the possibility of too much injuries? or other reason?

I am on the birth control aviane, and am about to hit the week where I am supposed to allow my period to start,

would it be safe for me to push back my period a week and go ahead and jump to next week's pack, and then take the dead week after that?

My sitter backed out at the last minute, and I can't get to the grocery store to get all of the things I needed for a nice spread (party tomorrow). I have to serve between 20-40 people from the hours of 6 p.m. - midnight - but I now have no time to cook (I have two small kids). I am in a panic, but I know someone here can offer suggestions of a quick, bountiful meal or heavy appetizer that is sure to please without too much complication.

My Fiance' is a good man & I love him. He was married for 20 years & had 4 children with his ex wife. He was a Jehovah Witness & raised his kids in that religion. He has since left that religion because of the fanatical views they have. When he left the religion he also left his wife because she was "brainwashing" the kids into thinking their Dad was a terrible person because he was no longer in "the truth". Right before I started dating him, my fiance' lived in an old rusted out trailer by himself, got addicted to porn, was up in the Karaoke Bars every single night, his kids did not want to see him because "Mom says Dad is bad". He started talking to women online & trying to "hookup" with Women for sex (but says he never went through with it). Then he met me at a Karaoke Party. He has since stopped watching the porn. He only goes to the bar twice a week (usually with me). And 2 of his kids are talking to him again. Is my fiance' okay? Or should I be concerned & rethink marrying him?

ok "if" i go and attend school and pull through 2 maybe 4 yrs and then enlist into the airforce would they pay for the school i already took? wouldnt it be better to join and have them pay for it all? this guy told me that i should join and mature and when i go back to school i would be more focused when i get back into a real college after the 4 year sign up. and becoming a surgeon and schooling , that would take great deal drive and focus which is what i would need.im not one of those crazy people who only go to party and i dont have that tempermant so i would party but not party like crazy

Ok her I go.....We have a little girl 3 years ago but I kicked him out because he cheated on me and couldn't keep a job...etc..And I got with this other guy when she was two months old.And we are currently still together.And that was back in 2005....He has seen her once and that was before she turned 1.We have talked but that was back in 2006 but then I moved changed my number etc...But the other day he some how got my number and called me up wanting to know how his daughter was..He was in jail for about a year or so for not paying child support..Let me tell you he has kids...more than the average joe..The guy that I am with now dont think that i should let him see her because he thinks he's worthless. And that he hasen't before there for her.I just think that he will leave again and this time it will hurt her because she is older.What do I do??
