I'm attractive and plenty of men look at me, but hardly any ever actually approach me when I'm out..I don't know why, I don't think I seem unfriendly or anything. Men can you help?

Hi Rachel. I think you might find that men are afraid of attractive girls, or they may go by the old saying "all the best ones are already taken". "You don't ""seem"" unfriendly" doesn't give off a very positive outlook, it might be that you seem to others, you are untouchable with out you knowing it, but be assured others pick it up. People who are trying to hard to get involved with another tend to frighten them away. I can't explain why, but, put it down to sixth sense. However, we live in a society where women are equal, why not try and ask someone if you can buy them a drink, it will show that you are approachable and not intimidating, On the brighter side, it may not be your time to get into a relationship, but that special someone is going to be around the corner when you least expect it. Let life take it's own course and soon you will be with the one who has been waiting for you. Although life gives us a hard time, it does have it's special moments. Go out and enjoy yourself with out the thought of getting caught and let live deal you the ace of hearts when it's ready. In the mean time have a very happy Christmas and new year. Best of luck Peter

I would say the majority of the time that I approached men or otherwise made the first move, I've been rejected. Some of these men showed interest up until I made that first move. I don't know if they don't like confident women or if they feel emasculated, or what the deal was. But whenever I refrained from approaching men, they always come to me. I don't approach men anymore.

Are you sexually appealing without looking like a s.l.u.t. Here are some suggestions, open toe shoes, feet taken care of, hair nice, hand nails painted, cloths stylish but not slutty or too formal. Your general look should be fit, healthy and vibrant. Even if you are not pretty, if you are fit and look healthy with a bouncy stride you will command attention.
Do you give approachable attitude. How do you feel, playful, witty, mischievous, glancing at guys, touching your hair, do you smile, a smile resulting from the above feelings inside? are you enthusiastic for conversation, DO YOU KEEP EYE CONTACT? Do you frown in nervousness or smile in happiness when you sight guys? Do you make effort to be near guys or make effort to be away from them? Are you generally a happy positive person? Do you look too sophisticated? Do you look too immature? Do you exercise and eat right? Do you like the company of ppl not only men?
Do you usually go out of your way to accept or reject invitations for some type of social gathering. Do you like places where large # of ppl are found, dance clubs, bars, libraries, festivals, sports venues, parks, health clubs, restaurants, malls, are you tolerant of others or bitchy on every little wrong others do...

So you see, in general the idea is to be good to yourself and be social. That is it.

Men get tired of approaching girls and being rejected. So I guess you are getting some of this. If women had less attitude there would not be such a problem for girls like you. Men don't feel intimidated, that's just a female myth, bit of an ego trip,

Men are scared. lol The prettier u are and the more confident u seem the less confident they are. They get very intimidated. Sometimes u have to take matters into your own hands and just approach them or send them a drink or something. (if ur old enough lol)

I am sometimes afraid to approach certain women, and that is usually because I am not feeling confident about myself.
perhaps you are not around confident males.
I am not talking about alcohol, or drug confident males, but those who dont have a fear of rejection.
stop hanging around waiting to be approached, maybe you want to be in control, and that can become sinister. I am sure you are not a sinister female.
if you see a male you like try having some eye contact, and then get in touch with your feelings to see whats going on with you.

When men look at you do you smile? or do you look back at them with the who's he looking at look.

If the men are younger than 30yrs the my darling, you will have to approuch them, us older men were use to doing the running, but it seems these days the girl has to do the running.

Mummys boys or what ??

The right person will find you.
Have fun and Keep smiling.

Could it be the way you either dress or project yourself. Sometimes us men see a girl and don't approch them because you wear a certain style of clothes, or you give off a signal of being a little out of our class.

Too intelligent looking for them.

Don a blonde wig for a while and see how they react to you then. Most men are very shallow when it comes to womens looks.

And I do not mean to offend my blonde sisters but you know what they say about blondes being dumb even though we know it is a load of crap.
