My two seem to be coping very well since my mum died recently, but I have to be careful not to say "Mum" or they'll expect to see her. I'm sure they'll never forget her, but do dogs accept that some people just won't come back again?

I was recently laid-off from my job (housing market sucks). We have two of our three children in day care. Our income was cut by more than ½. My wife and I tried to get help with the daycare bill ($1000.00 a month) so I could go to interviews. The agency that deals with this help told us that we both have to be working to get this help. That is all fine, but, not a week before I saw a lady pull up in a brand new 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 ($30000.00) much nicer than my Ford F150 ($6000.00). She picked up two kids and left like I did. She signed her kids out in a different book than I did, so I asked my wife about the two sign-in books. She told me one was for the people who pay and one was for the people with government help. My wife and I make good money and we struggle every month with the daycare so I know that people need help but also, I am the one who had the kids and they are my responsibility to pay for there upbringing. I get tired of paying for my kids and all the other kids. I am a republican but am not happy with the Bush leadership. My question is candidate will help the middle class the most and fix some of these programs. Should I even find this situation wrong and this doesn’t even go into the collecting unemployment headache.

P.S. I found a job within a week so this didn’t hurt me that much, but it could have, and it will hurt someone else.

I have purchased a door entry system which has a magnetic lock release which replaces the bit on the door frame which the lock goes into. However, it doesnt look as thoughb this will fit on a double glazed door frame. I know you can do it on a double glazed door frame but im not sure what i need to go into the door frame? any answers would be really appreciated. Also any weblinks direct to the product or company names that sell them would be great, thanks!

Blame the dog
A guy goes to pick up his date for the evening. She's not ready yet, so he has to sit in the living room with her parents. He has a bad case of gas and really needs to releive some pressure.

Luckily, the family dog jumps up on the couch next to him. He decides that he can let out a little fart, and if anyone notices they will think that the dog did it. He farts, and his date's mother yells, "Spot, get down from there." The guy thinks, "Great, they think the dog did it."

He releases another fart, and the mother again yells for the dog to get down. This goes on for a couple more farts.

Finally, after an especially bad fart, she yells, "Dammit Spot, get down before he shits on you!"

Mom-

I’m writing this too you because I am frustrated. I’m 23 years old almost 24 and living at home, and it is not fun. I think that is one reason I miss Jesse, because I had that place away from home I could go to. I appreciate you and all you do for me and I love you for caring so much, but there comes a time in a child’s life that the child needs to start feeling not controlled by their parents. I know it is your house and I need to respect that and take care of my room better for you, but please stop telling me what to do and when to do it. I’m just trying to be honest with you, I’m not trying to hurt your feelings, but I need to get these feelings out to make me a better person. I need to learn to make my own decisions, and stop listening to everyone else’s suggestions on my life, it is a thing I need to do to grow up even more, it is something I need to make myself better for my future. I love how we have gotten closer mom, but I need this from you. I need to start seeking approval from myself instead of you, this leads me to be more self-confident instead of self-sufficient in what your opinions are. Please work on this with me, just so I can start being a better me, more self-confident, more self-sufficient, I need to feel like I have control of my own life. I have been reading a book by Dr. Phil about getting out there and dating again, and the first thing is to start loving yourself, and being your whole self, so that is what I’m trying to do. I love you and appreciate you caring so so much about me, I’m doing this also so we are closer. Thank you for everything you do.

ILLINOIS: Cook County Considering Two Anti-Gun Proposals! There are currently two anti-gun ordinances taking aim at our Second Amendment rights in Cook County. First, the Safe Streets/Weapons Registration Ordinance requires the registration of all firearms and firearm owners in the county. As written, it is an outright gun ban and prohibits the transport of a firearm in your vehicle unless the firearm is "broken down in a nonfunctioning state." The other proposed ordinance would amend the county's "Deadly Weapon Dealers Ordinance" to completely ban all gun shows within the county, and prohibits federally licensed dealers from operating within 10 miles of another federally licensed dealer. There is currently no timetable set for when either will be taken up for consideration, so please contact the Cook County Board of Commissioners immediately and urge them to oppose these attacks on the Second Amendment.
