They didn't speak a language because they never existed. If they did exist we would all be related since the bible claims we all came from them. If we were all related we would have died off long ago due to serious incest issues. When the royal family used to do it they had serious problems, and that wasn't even close to as many generations as it would be now. Do you really want to believe that Eve had sex with her sons to help populate the earth? That disgusting. So in short they spoke nothing since they did not exist. If you don't exist you can't speak. If we want to take the bible as a work of fiction, since that is what it is, then technically they speak whatever language the book you are reading is published in. In edition Hebrew is not the oldest language. Each language was developed independently when humans began to use what we call "speech" to communicate. It was a slow process. It is impossible to say which language is the oldest especially since a lot were not written down in their original form and thus there are no records of when they began. So Hebrew is not the oldest, hate to burst your bubble bible fans.

Was there Adam and Eve, in the first place? It's just a comic creation, which unfortunately fooled humans. Like Hollywood movies. Created by the same people too.
Lol!

Whether the first man and woman were Adam and Eve as portrayed in biblical text is debatable. If you are referring to the first biblical language then I would tell you Aramaic. However, as for the first language ever spoken? ... It's still debated. I've included a transcript a Nova program that attempted to address the topic.

What men today call the Hebrew language was, in its original form, the language that Adam spoke in the garden of Eden. For this reason it could be referred to as man’s language. It was the language spoken in Noah’s day, though with a growing vocabulary. In still further expanded form, it was the basic language that survived when Jehovah confused mankind’s speech at the Tower of Babel. (Gen. 11:1, 7-9) Hebrew belongs to the Semitic group of languages, of which it is the family head. It appears to be related to the language of Canaan in Abraham’s time, and from their Hebraic branch, the Canaanites formed various dialects. At Isaiah 19:18 it is referred to as “the language of Canaan.” Moses in his time was a scholar, learned not only in the wisdom of the Egyptians but also in the Hebrew language of his forefathers. For this reason he was in a position to read ancient documents that came into his hands, and these may have provided a basis for some of the information he recorded in what is now known as the Bible book of Genesis.

I have wondered this myself so many times, and finally came to the conclusion that it was what I would call the ancient language , and more than likley it is not any language we speak any longer. The bible doesn't mention it, really. I would say it was done away with by GOD when he caused everyone to speak many different languages.
Or maybe since it was a perfect world at first it may have been through thoughts, or gestures. Maybe someday we can ask God, you think?

LOL. Beer was being brewed thousands of years before the time that fundies date the existence of adam and eve. The earliest language is most likely a series of grunts and groans by the dinosaur hunters.

When Adam & Eve were sent to earth from Heaven they were sent to 2 different places on earth. Adam was sent to spot on Sri Lanka whilst Eve was sent to a spot called Mt of Compassion in Saudi Arabia (Jabbal Rahmah in Arabic).
The two of them never met until after 200 years later after searching for each other. When they finally met God taught them both a language through the Angel Jibril (Gabriel) so that they could understand each other. They were also taught the names of the various plants, flora & fauna as well as living creatures around them. Eventually they could identify all God's creation around them by specific names taught by God through the angel Jibril.
As to what language they actually spoke to each other then only God, The Omnipotent knows!

Do you think they even needed language? There was just the two of them initially and they probably could have communicated without words. They probably didn't have words until they ate from the tree of knowledge. WHo is to say that the language they spoke even exists today. (because of the whole tower of Babylon thing)
