i am taking my friend out on a date kinda and i dont know if i should buy her a gift when we go to the mall, would it set the wrong tone for the relationship? i heard i shouldnt buy her anything. if i chose without any advice i would take her to the movies, then to some stores and have dinner, well should i buy her a gift or would it be uncalled for. ANY DATING TIPS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

Time has always gone by so slowly for me. When I was a kid, people told me it would speed up as I grew up. Well, now i'm 31, and every day feels like a freaking year. It doesn't matter how busy I am...time just crawls by. Anyone else have this problem, or just life just zip along for you?

They seem so ignorant and actually believe they single handedly won WW1 & WW2. When in actuality they came in very, very late, after massive casualties on all sides. They always seem to belittle the contribution of others or the fact they arrived so late. They often forget the Allies, imparticular Australia and New Zealand pushing back Rommel in Northern Africa and holding out massively out manned in Tobrook. Also the old chestnut that we would all be speaking German/Japanese if they didn't come to our rescue really doesn't hold water when you realise both enemies were being pushed back, particularly the Japanese on the Kokoda trail. The japs invented a new phrase for retreat, which was "advance to the rear", because they had no similar word for retreat. In so many cases its well documented Americans were falling behind in the jungles and at the beach head compared to the Australians, and that was even before the arrival from Egypt of the Australian Imperial Force.

I do not want strangers kissing my baby. Usually it is older ladies that want to walk up and kiss her. I do not anyone's lips on my baby.The only ones that is allowed to kiss my baby is her grandparents, her brother, her aunties and uncles, and me and my husband. How can I kindly let people know that they should not kiss my baby?

my fiance will take over his fathers construction company in the next five years. its a big company. and we have been together for a about 4 years but just recently got engaged. we love eachother and we both feel like we hit the jack pot with eachother and adore eachother. well, he asked me what i thought about a prenup. he says he knows nothing will happen to us. but really, if he wants me to sign one, doesnt that mean he thinks we will divorce later on? i know in my heart i will never do anything to hurt him and i dotn believe in divorce. unless he cheated on me or hit me. and he knows this and agrees. we are goign though premaritital counseling and we want to do everyhitn we can to be prepared for the future. we really love eachother. but i am really hurt by him asking me about signing one. he says he wants his brothers g-friend to sign one more than anyhting. but, i am really torn. what do you all think?

I've finally found a guy that shares my faith and morals, and I am very happy about that. I have been to his church a few times, and honestly I don't like it. We tend to agree on most things, but I just don't like attending his church. He is very committed to this church and it means a lot to him that I go. What should I do about this? Can the relationship work out?

My son is 19months and still in his crib. The problem is he's huge (not fat just solid and tall) and getting him in and out of the crib is pretty hard on my back. I'm short and using a step stool to help me out.
He doesn't climb out of the crib and sleeps really well in it the only thing is he sleeps all around it, not just on one side.
so i'm scared he'll fall off even with bed rails

I am using Microsoft Exchange Server 6.5 . We are hosting our own email. About a week ago, one of the employees here said he could not receive outside mail. He could send mail, and receive mail delivered within the company, but he could not reeive mail from an outside source. I did a test by sending him an email from a gmail account, and it automatically bounced back.

Then, on Thursday or Friday of last week, another employee complained about the same problem!



Can anyone think of anything that might be causing this? Any suggestions?

It's driving me nuts. Every time I see it, I try to figure it out. You know, the commercial where the gingerbread kids come up the driveway on their bikes and the one says, "Hey Dad, I really want the new Go Phone for Christmas." And the gingerbread Dad is up on the ladder putting frosting on the house and says, "And I want people to stop eating our house, but that's not going to happen." I recognize the voice of the kid that wants the Go Phone, but I just can't place it. It's driving me insane. Anyone know?
