i'm going to buy a tomtom for my fiancee, and i have no idea how this thing works. does it have to be installed into the car, or is it portable? and if its portable, where do you keep it in the car while your driving? do you charge it in your house when your not driving your car?

I used to like my in laws a lot when I first got married, but now they seem to be getting on my nerves. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but they are just rude sometimes.

By in laws, I don't mean my husband's parents, I am referring to his extended family. They make such rude comments about everything and I never feel like being around them. Whenever we have family get togethers, I always hang around with my husband's younger cousins (who are like, 5-10 years younger than me lol.) And everyone makes fun of me that I hang out with the kids. I just feel like the children have much more intelligent things to talk about then the adults. All they every talk about it when are you going to have kids, you should have kids, why dont you have kids, blah blah blah.

I recently got a job at Macy's.
My manager said she did not have any part-time schedule available for the kind of hours I wanted, so she offered me an on-call job and I took that.

My manager told me that since its the holidays, there are always open hours to work- so it would be like working part-time.

Since its on-call, does that mean I will never know when I will work? How much time in advance will I know when they want me to come in?

What is the difference between a Nursing Assistant (NA) and a Certified Nursing Assistant (NA). I realize the the CNA is certified and probably needs to take a test but can you really work without being certified and if so how does that work. At University of Wisconsin Hospital there are only NAs and at the hospital near my house everyone is a CNA. Maybe it varies from state to state.

about an hour ago I took my milk out from the microwave and all the froth bubbled over whilst i was holding it and onto my thumb. the milk was boling hot and it took me a while to realise what had happened. my friend put it straight under cold water and we left it there for about 15mins. the whole of my thumb and part of my palm is now bright red and the pain is unbearble. i keep putting it under cold water but as soon as i remove it the pain comes back. im worried it is a really bad burn, as it is a sunday i cant go to doctors and live at uni. what should i do??
