I told my son, just a few minutes ago, I'm going to make a Republican out of you whether you like it or not (teasing him), and he said back to me, "well, why would I want to be a Democrat, I mean Liberal, anyway? I want to be an American! A Republican!"

I just found out I'm going to get married, and I told my friend (who I have always planned on having as my maid of honor) and I was really put off by how she responded. Everyone has been so excited because me and my new fiance are so close and have dated for 2 1/2 years. She was more like, "This is a big decision; I hope you're making the right one." I just felt like "Who are you, and don't you know me at all?"

Later in the conversation I mentioned that I might not want to do the typical wedding party with a formal "maid of honor" because my fiance does not have one particularly close friend to name as a best man. She would still have the traditional "Maid of honor" spot at the wedding. But she made me feel really bad about this choice too.

I feel a lot closer to one of my other friends right now, and she has been a big help in getting me started on planning and listening to all of my ideas. Should I place her as MOH, or stick to my choice of having both? Or neither? Why?

It's got about 8-9 points of soil, housing a poinsettia plant of about 3-4 feet in heigt, it's pretty big. how often should I water it? I've been giving it water once every 3-4 days, maybe 2-3 cups of water, but it might actually need more water, lots of soil. Am I doing something wrong here? Thanks.

My mazda protege came with a lug wrench that is only about 14 inches long. Is that long enough to tighten wheel lug nuts sufficiently? Or do I need to buy one of those large X-shaped lug wrenches?

these days you commit murder, you get out within 8 years for "good behaviour", but for going over the speed limit, all holy hell crashes down on you.
i wonder when the government will introduce the naughty step for murderers and hangings for speeders!

this world has gone crazy nuts. it needs to go back to the times when people wroked for their money, and got punished for the crimes they commited!

I've been feeling "dead" since I was 14. im 20 years old now.
my symptoms where odd so I went day after day ignoring them and contiuned to live life feeling dead. I worked had a couple of relationships all while feeling emotionless and in my head I always just thought it was pubirty. eventully at 19 I decided to look on the net for what could be wrong with me. and I found somthing called "depersonalization" that seemed to some what fit but not fully. I know relize I dont have depersonalization. I left home and couple of months of being away from home I started to feel normal again. I then took a trip back home to visit my mom and stepfather and on the way back in the van I noticed I have alot of anger for him. He emotionally and physiclly abused me. Then Somthing Strange happend it was if he took my sense of self without saying a word and mirrored it onto him and as soon as this happend I went back "into my head" and feeling dead. what the hell is going on?

I am still a virgin, but I find that if I don't masturbate prior to talking to a woman (at least one day) I find it easier to talk to her and get along with her. It's easier to be friendly and make her smile and laugh if I don't masturbate. If I do masturbate, I tend to be moody, lackadaisical, and nonchalant which can turn a lot of women off. Is there any reasoning behind this?
