Bill Clinton is visiting a school. In one class, he asks the students if anyone can give him an example of a "tragedy." One little boy says "If my friend is playing in the street when a car came by and killed him, THAT would be a tragedy."

"No," Clinton says, "That would be an 'accident'."

A girl raises her hand. "If a school bus carrying fifty children drove off a cliff, killing everyone inside...that would be a tragedy."

"I'm afraid not," explains Clinton. "That is what we would call a 'great loss'."

The room is silent; none of the other children dare volunteer.

"What?" asks Clinton, "Isn't there anyone here who can give me an example of a tragedy?"

Finally, a boy in the back raises his hand. In a timid voice, he says: "If an airplane carrying Bill and Hillary Clinton was blown up by a bomb, that would be a tragedy."

"Wonderful!" Clinton beams. "Marvelous! And can you tell me WHY that would be a tragedy?"

Like when you buy a multiple layer cake at a bakery or whatever. when I bake it at home, the top is always rounded like a dome, and when you stack it, they are not even layers.

I'm having a christmas cookie party next week with a small group of teen girls..... '

what food should we have, i'm thinking store bought refrigerator ravioli with alfredo and veggies and salad, quick simple but delisious, we will have hot chocolate and apple cider but then i need ideas for snacks/dips/and quick bits whilt we're baking and hanging out



any advice or ideas welcome

walking by a police station where there are plenty of posters of criminals wanted for murder. Santa says,"See Banta, now you can outsource killers and that too at the police station. Imagine!"

I am Unconfident
A dune of sand

Is it ok for a woman to pay on a date?
I usually, after the 4th or 5th date, offer to pay for dinner and such and after that I try to take turns in paying. Is there anything wrong with that?
My friend was telling me that guys don't like it and I should never do that. I should let them pay for everything all the time for the first few months.
I don't agree with that. I think we both are enjoying the relationship and both should pay. Ok maybe the guy can pay a bit more at the beginning but I like being independent. What do you guys think? Please let me know.
