confessed all my sins and asked God to forgive me,and no matter how many times i ask Jesus to come into my life and cleanse me of all my sins and ''save''me,it just does not work.I just keep falling back into sin.I dont want to,but i cant help myself.I seem to be in bondage to sinful things in my life, and also i cant stop coming out with lies and swearing, and getting bad tempered,as i have excessive stress and pressures in my life.I do so much want to be a christian, but at the moment its just religion with me.I go to a very traditionalist church,an anglican church in the uk,where thereare some Born Again christians may i add,but as regards to myself no sooner i say sorry to God for anything i'm aware i've done, said,or thought wrong,i'm there doing those things again,so what i'd like to know is how can i be set free and delivered from been in these bondages,as every attemp at my trying to turn from my sins and accept Jesus into my life always fails,so whats the matter with me.Sarah,uk

Hi, I live in my a three story house and part of my front yard (about 10 ft. by 10 ft) and a little bit of my basement has termites. The guy told me the price would be.
1600 for the first extermination.
Then, for the next five years, he has to come every 3 months to do something which costs 120. so total, it would be 2400.
then at the end of the five years, i would need to do another final extermination which is another 1600. Is all this actually necessary or is he just trying to get extra money?
so the final price is 5600.

Following on from my previous question (and thanks to everyone who responded), if you did find yourself without power in the middle or outsied lane on a motorway, but able to free-wheel for some distance, which light would be best to use? If you just wanted to show that you were just slowing down then the hazzard lights would obviously be best. But, bearing in mind that you want to move left (in the U.K.) toward the hard shoulder, would it be better to use the usual indiators used when turning left? Would using the going left indicators, rather than the hazzards, mean that there would be less chance of someone hitting you when overtaking you on the inside lane? ( I know nobody should overtake on the inside, but I also know this sometimes happens in heavy traffic, when the cars in one lane slow down more that those in the other one(s).)

Exodus 20:4 - Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Deuteronomy 29:17 - And ye have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them

Psalms 135:15-18 -The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not; They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths. They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.

Acts 17:29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.

There is no physical description of Christ given to us from Scripture. We don’t know if He was tall or short, thin or heavy, medium complexion or darker, and so on. God did not intend to give us a description. Having a picture or image helps us to satisfy our own wanting minds. We keep a sort of superstitious tie to the picture for it would indeed be blasphemous to mar or disfigure the picture in any way. The fact is we are to have no likeness of anything in heaven --- and Christ certainly is in heaven. One may debate this point and say the picture represents Christ on earth. Well if it is supposed to be Christ, did He really look like the picture? If He did not, the picture is a lie. You are saying it is a picture of Christ when it is not. Even if the picture were an exact likeness of Jesus, it would still be a violation of the second commandment. Either way, it is much safer to praise and worship Him without images. Would you keep a picture of the Father? How about the Holy Spirit? We are to walk by faith, not by sight (2Cor 5:7).

I am off work at the moment as I have been into hospital to get some cosmetic surgery done, and it has just been brought to my attention that one of my bosses at work has disclosed this to other members of staff. Has he broken any laws here? I feel that this was my decision who I told and now that all the other staff members know. (54 in total). If I had gone into hospital to have an abortion, I feel that this would have happened also. What is my next step?

The sins of the father:

ISA 14:21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers; that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities.

DEU 24:16 The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

This era will forever be known as the steriod era. No different than any other. Through the years they have changed the mount, the ball and the size of the fields. The man is 44 yrs old and still an amazing player. When did we turn into a nation with so much hate, so quick to turn on people we once idiolized.

religion, there is a defense mechanism that goes up without
even thinking! Most people are religious yet disagree on
important religious concepts, especially regarding God.
Although some religions do refer to God in a pleural form
meaning more than one. The basic fundamental religions
of Christianity, Islam and Judaism(spelling) all refer to
prophets. Yet their is a major disagreement of who is a
prophet. This can even be discerned in Christianity itself.
Look at the Mormons, Lutherans, Catholics and other
protestants. Mormons believe that Joseph Smith was
the chosen prophet of the new Church, The lutherans be-
lieve it was Martin Luther both mortal men. Most of the
Protestants focus on Jesus as the Messiah. Why do
you suppose that people are willing to accept that God
would speak to Joseph Smith, Martin Luther as oppose
to anyone else on earth. Just because someone does
something phenomenal, does that necessarily make them
a proclaimed prophet.
