I am off work at the moment as I have been into hospital to get some cosmetic surgery done, and it has just been brought to my attention that one of my bosses at work has disclosed this to other members of staff. Has he broken any laws here? I feel that this was my decision who I told and now that all the other staff members know. (54 in total). If I had gone into hospital to have an abortion, I feel that this would have happened also. What is my next step?

There is no law prohibiting a superior to let other employees about the status of the co-employee regarding cosmetic surgery because it is not a crime unless made malicious or libelous.
