these days you commit murder, you get out within 8 years for "good behaviour", but for going over the speed limit, all holy hell crashes down on you.
i wonder when the government will introduce the naughty step for murderers and hangings for speeders!
this world has gone crazy nuts. it needs to go back to the times when people wroked for their money, and got punished for the crimes they commited!

people dont change. society and culture changes to make it better for the bad guy.
the government are the bad guys and the ones who are making our world an unsafe, uncomfortable place to live in (those of us who dont commit crime, and work for a living).

I thoroughly agree. Today I received not one, but TWO violation notices. For what? Offending some moron by telling the truth. And what does Yahoo have to say? They claimed my response was neither a question nor an answer! Indeed, the world has gone nutz.

You are so right in what you say. Can't believe that the people in charge think it's ok to early release dangerous people from prison because our prisons are overflowing.....prison sentences are supposed to be for criminals who are a danger to the public or it is in the public interest to lock them up.....so why are people who haven't paid their Council Tax locked up? Usually these are pensioners who just can't afford it anyway! It's ludicrous! The amount of money they're pulling in through speed cameras and parking fines should be enough to build new prisons anyway!
Life used to mean life. We've seen on Tv where criminals have used the Human Rights Act because they say conditions in prison aren't humane....don't like it, then don't be a criminal. Simple. Didn't think prison was supposed to be enjoyable.

Unfortunately, somewhere along the line all the *ssholes took charge of everything & decided that the world would be better off if they took it upon themselves to exterminate common sense & testicular fortitude around the globe...& for an added measure they thought to horribly blur the lines of masculinity & feminity till the human race is destroyed by coerced abstinence!!!

i'm not really answering you, actualy im not sure what the question is! but i am agreeing with you i think this world has gone crazy too especialy with all the 'health and safety' i think people can look after themselves and dont need being pushed around by the goverment and insurance like its thier mother!
