Well, they were both born of unusual circumstances, were almost killed after their births, go into exile, reared by foster parents, their childhoods are a bit of a mystery, and do good deeds for the community.

Both are fictional characters with "super' abilities
Their powers vary depending on the version of the story.
The obsticals they both have to overcome are people doubting their existance and living as a meek 'alter' ego.
Clark Kent and Jesus before the Christ was added.

They can both save you. Superman can fly. Jesus can walk on water and make wine out of water too. That's pretty good. They both had trouble getting girlfriends. Jesus had better clothes. Superman wore his underwear on the outside.

Well, Superman is faster, stronger, and generally more durable than Jesus... but... why would anyone want to compare the two?

Going by his appearance I suspect that one of the obstacles Superman had to overcome was his repressed homosexuality.
