I purchased a 7 wk old boxer on a saturday afternoon. We took him home and noticed how sick he was he had a really bad breathing problem and had a fould bowel movement covered in a milky slime, diahrea and vomitting. We called the vet and got him in on tuesday. He had an upper respitory infection and was malnurished. They didn't find parasites in his stools. She was suppose to have provided us with the breed paperwork for her boxer and the father so we could get our boxer registered. She didn't want to pay the costs. He also was not vaccinated and I was very concerned so she said just to let her know if we needed anything or whatnot. I kept emailing and calling the seller and she wouldn't not return my calls or email me back. So I stopped payment on the check I gave her. Sure enough she contacted me a week later and said she would give me papers. She still hasn't and now her husband calls to bitch me out and wants the dog or payment. What do I do. Am I in the wrong or is she?

At Selly Oak hospital– which is part of the University Hospital Birmingham NHS foundation trust but also houses the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine – colleagues of wounded soldiers were not allowed to visit wearing uniform for fear of upsetting Muslim visitors and staff. Does anyone agree with the stance of the hospital? If so please could you explain? I am not trying to incite an arguement I just want to hear what people have to say.

I was very interested in the responses and noticed that nobody seemed to know that Jesus wasn't even born on December 25th so all of the righteous Christian folk discussing the demise of the Nativity in the UK perhaps need to study their religion a little closer and realise that it is widely known that Jesus was born sometime between January and March but NOT on December 25th.

Christians took over 25th of December as their 'holiday' if you want to call it that as it originally was a Pagan festival and the Christians did not like this.

I know you will all say I am an Atheist hater - but actually I was Christened CofE, attended Methodist Church as a girl and my sister remains a devout and practicing Christian (it was she who told me this about Christmas)

Am I the only person who knew this?

If I am , Kamran's stats don't surprise me in the least.

The other one got ruined with weld burns and shrinkage due to childish washing up liquid fight with his friend.

Or should I bother at all as he has no respect for my gifts the other hats I bought him get lost when he looses his mind visiting his Mother or silly friends.

We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge, or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.
- John Adams

I think Adams is saying that without religion, or some kind of objective morality, our whole political structure will collapse. Freedom is possible in a society where people are generally moral. If people are generally immoral, a free society cannot function.

Bush says the reason we need to win in Iraq is that if we left Iraq tommorow, it would be a "Safe Haven for terrorists" and the Iraq insurgency would attack the USA. Do you think the Iraq insurgency wants to attack the USA? If not, then what the heck are the Iraq insurgency members fighting for?

I am going to see the musical, "Wicked," in January or February of 2008. Currently, I know that Stephanie J. Block is cast as Elphaba. I hear her contract is near expiration (well, according to a comment posted on YouTube), but she only just started on Broadway, didn't she? I wanted to know if she would still be there in January or February of 2008..... I REALLY want to see her, and she has been the best Elphie since Idina Menzel (whom no one can compare to, by the way!). I really want to see her, is she still going to be there? Please help me!
