Bush says the reason we need to win in Iraq is that if we left Iraq tommorow, it would be a "Safe Haven for terrorists" and the Iraq insurgency would attack the USA. Do you think the Iraq insurgency wants to attack the USA? If not, then what the heck are the Iraq insurgency members fighting for?

Yes!

Don't worry about the Iraq insurgency.

Tomorrow never comes!

We are still engaged in a tough battle against the tree hugging AlGoreristically challenged global warmanistas and the anti-war Sheehan wannabes.

USA is fighting a war against enemies from all sides.

Unfortunately for us, we only have two sides, left & right.

Your question should be, "Which side would you choose to fight in able to win the war?".

An insurgency is defined as a popular armed uprising against a government, in the case of Iraq, an American installed regime, which moonlights as a pro Iranian Shi'ite theocratic dictatorship. In this sense the insurgency poses no tangible threat whatsoever to the all hallowed homeland security of America.
In reality, for every single day that the U.S continues to illegally occupy Iraq, the hatred towards America grows exponentially through out the Muslim world increasing the likelihood that sooner or later the real "terrorists" will strike once again.

No of course not. That is ridiculous. Iraq is already a breeding and training ground for terrorists. The Iraqi insurgency does not want to attack the US. The Iraqi insurgency are fighting for control of their country. Our President keeps saying when they can stand up we will stand down. They are standing up, they want to take control, it is not up to the US to shape what form of government they have. They deserve the right to form their own government the same way the US did so many years ago.

Tomorrow ,,, Not so far away but if you want more than that single day then you must do what is necessary to stop those that would take tomorrow from you.

They had no army, tanks, ships or planes but they used one of ours and killed 3000. That is a tomorrow I don't want to see because you think only of today.

Yeah he does call it a safe haven doesnt he. What I don't get, about that statement is this. Where were they to begin with? They came to Iraq looking for safety?

Considering that some of the insurgency is Al Qaeda, the answer is yes. They have already attacked us -- see 9/11.

I seriously doubt that. BUT...
It's interesting that the cons have such a hard time admitting the fact that if they believe we will be attacked if we leave Iraq, that is obviously because of our commander-in-chief's failed operations in Iraq. They don't want to put blame where blame is due.

LOL - What a ignorant arguement Bush is using. The terrorists have no ships or airplanes. Just don't let them on a commercial airliner and they're out of business. They CAN'T follow us anywhere there mule won't go.
