I didn't find out what people did to these poor animals
I have a faux fur jacket but I hate to wear it, do you think its okay? i can't return it.

I don't support using real fur in fashion but fake fur is AOK. Animals' coats are pretty and mimicking them is fine. Just don't rip them off their skin, lol!
Enjoy it and if someone makes a remark, just reply, "It's faux". They'll smile, I promise.

I don't think your wearing "faux" fur is bad... I'm vegan, and I would think it better you are wearing faux fur than the real thing... I have a lot of things that I can't afford the "upgrade" for, so I appreciate and use what I have and let other people solve their own questions for themselves (like, whether or not they are going to be bothered with it...). Also, I guess it is worth looking into about the whole "possible cat/dog fur thing" and I do think it is good that our friends who we want to set an example for of veganism know that, if they ask, it's "not real"... Honestly, I think it's easy to tell the difference, and if someone is so fixated on what you're wearing that they can't tell the difference, then they are just looking for things to criticize and I wouldn't listen to them... No offense to your friend, I think she is trying to be helpful, but I would go veggie and then, when you can afford a new coat, get a new coat...

yes wear the faux!! that's why they made them, i dont like the killing of animals for their fur either! so yes, show the world that faux fur is just as nice as the real thing with out the "death" also, vegetarians eat veggie burgers instead of meat, they look & almost taste like the real meat, same difference. :)

i'm a vegetarian and i would never wear fur. I think faux is fine though. Although a lot of people may think its real.

YES! I am against all those people who are like "Psh! I have real fur, I'm not gonna wear no fake fur!" Wearing fake fur is okay though becuase it looks good, and you're not actually hurting any animals! Good job in supporting those poor animals!!!

Faux fur is fine to wear if you disapprove of the real thing, but I'm not going to turn down my mom's $7,000 mink coat when she hands it to me. However, I might sell it instead of keeping something I have no use for.

The Bible says it's OK to wear animal skins, but it was written well before we knew how to make better alternatives like gortex. I think fur looks cheesy and won't wear it personally but by all means if it fits your style, snuggle on!
However if you are truly against real fur then it is a little hypocritical to wear any kind of fur

actually, so "Faux" fur says faux fur beacause they want to sell it. sometimes the fur is actually real. But they says its not to sell it. I would suggest to stay away from fur, faux or not.

I hate to think of all those cute little baby fauxs that have been killed just so you can wear their skin. So no, I don't think it's alright. Take the jacket back, and go to your local pet shop and buy a pet faux to look after instead. I have one, and they're really gorgeous. All my friends love feeding him milk.
