My husband is only being paid if he works on the holiday. This I don't think is right. He should be paid for 8 hours. Not 7 hours because he only works from midnight to 7 am!! Please let me know what you think!! If he works the holiday he should get paid time and a half.

What do you think? To me, it makes sense, because Atheists don't have a gathering place like a church or whatever to discuss their beliefs, so they go one here more.

The reason i say this is because i constantly see questions bashing atheists whose answers, the pro-atheist ones at least, seem to have tons more Thumbs-Ups than any other type of question.

Or perhaps atheists stick together more, so there just seems like there's a disproportionately large number of them on here because they show their support more often with the thumbs-up's.

How do you use the thumbs up function? No, wait, i'll ask another question about that...

Anyway, whaddaya think?

I have a few questions I am having trouble. I have to study for this test and beyond good and evil is killing me. It is so confusing. I have trouble with comprehension anyways. I am not a phil major and so this class is a core class so it isn't like I am taking it because I want to. anyways can someone help me with some of these?

Call from a friend, flat battery can I go a rescue her?
So off I went. Go there neither of us had jump leads, went to garage to buy some the garage don't sell them! Went to good old Tescos and bought some. Back to car too dark we couldn't see where the negative & positive things were. Flagged down a car to help us and guess what the man was a mechanic!!
Car started, drove home end of tale, Hope that trail of disasters made you giggle!

I'm thinking of taking an Amtrak ride this week from Portland down to the Bay Area. This will be my first train ride. What are some people's experiences with trains? Is it a fairly smooth ride? Is it possible to sleep with all of the stops it makes? Thanks for any advice you can give.
