Most of the time I don't like to eat much during the tournament, which lasts all day usually. I have between one and two hours between matches, about 5 matches during the entire day. What is the best eating strategy to keep energized throughout the day?

you want easily digestible food sources. for protein this would be white fish (tuna, tilapia, etc.) or cooked egg whites. both are digested in less than 45 minutes. for carbs you would want a combination of slow burning carbs like oats, whole grain rice, beans, etc. and some fruit like bananas, oranges and apples

lots of carbohydrates just make sure you burn them off bananas are a great source of energy, and glucose is good for a boost too
