These past few days, I've tried Luna, Clif and Odwalla bars. All three left something to be desired. Is there anything better out there, or is that pretty much it? A few people told me those were the best of the best. Uh-oh...

I reacall a song with these lyrics
"Who am I, who am I to cast the first stone?
How can I be your judge, you're not guilty alone.
I can't say that I never told you a lie
So who am I to cast the first stone?"

I always loved this song but can't recall who sang it...would love to know for old time sale!

Considering what the gunman said about at least being famous when he died, do you think it would work to refuse to name these people when they do something like this? It worked when the NFL and MLB decided to give no camera coverage to streakers and other nuts on the field!

I just don't feel like I deserve a good job, friends or boyfriends. I would like to feel better about myself but something inside keeps saying "you're not worth it". Am I really NOT worthy of good things in my life?

He is about 8 months old..I just noticed yesterday he had a lose stool, which is not too uncommon, but after that I noticed that he had been getting blood all over, like his butt is bleeding??? I am going to feed him some rice and hamburger to help with the lose stool but I am not concerned with that right now, I am more worried about why it looks as though his butt is bleeding, when he poops now there is blood but after he's pooped he gets blood on the carpet when he sits down and what not. He is otherwise acting very normal and energetic and eating normal, and drinking water like normal. What is wrong???

Do you think that having cream soda & root bear for the kids would be an acceptable replacement for the honey mead and wine that the grown ups will have? Or maybe you have some other suggestions? I realize that "soda" isnt very medieval but we were trying to include the children as much as possible.

Im due in January and am more than ready to have my baby. In movies you always see family members sitting in the waiting room at the hospital... and then the father comes out with the baby and everyone sees him.

I know for a fact that I will not be in the mood to see anyone but my mother if anyone at all after going thru the most difficult task of my life. My mother in law really irritates me and having her around will not go over well for me personally.

When you gave labor did family come visit you afterwards or does the hospital make such visits un-allowed. I might even ask my nurse to tell them I need rest and no one should be admitted into the room.

I don't mind them seeing the baby I just don't like the idea of people crowding around me after I labored for several hours especially my MIL because she is so loud.

Anyways, what really happens after the delivery? Do people really wait for hours until the babies arrived?

Ok, so we are bored to death & not into the "bar scene", so I decided to build a fun room in our house so we could have some fun on the weekends & not have to go out and spend a bunch of $$ & deal with drunks at the bars. So I enclosed my porch and now I want to add the "fun". I've found a decent pool table for $150, I've built a little bar w/mini-fridge for less than $100, I'm saving up for an LCD 36" TV that'll go up on the wall. I'd like to have the kids be able to play video games too, so I'm looking for a video game console that has a decent variety of games (for adults & kids) that is cheap, so therefore I dont need the newest thing out there. I'd like an old Nintendo or something like that. Any ideas on a reliable video game console that has decent games you can still get ahold of?

I read that there are 'no questions asked' places young mothers can abandon their babies, so they'll stop stopping up the toilets at prom. Where are these safety zones? Because my parents are paying way too much attention to my little brother.

I'm a high-school sophomore and I've been thinking about university quite a bit lately. I was just wondering if it's better to be well rounded (participate actively in a variety of things) or to have one solid interest/skill (all activities contributing to this interest) when applying to university. In other words, is it better to be an all arounder or have one special talent?

All help is appreciated...also, please do not make a post about how I'm too young to be thinking about college or that I need to do certain things that don't actually resolve my problem.
