i have a lot of twitching-I also have a lot of pain behind the ear and in the jaw line -it's been a week already- i am freaking out- i hate it!!!!! I am suppose to go on vacation at the end of the month when will this go away???

Call your doctor RIGHT NOW and tell them about this side effect. Seriously this should not wait at all.

Could be bells palsy or even shingles. Did the doc have any idea at all at the diagnoses? I think the steroids will help and it should show improvement within the week. If not any better in a couple of days go back to the doc or get a second opinion.

I'm surprised your doctor didn't tell you that you have Bell's Palsy. He gave you the correct treatment for it. I had this many years ago and back then, they didn't use drug therapy. They taped my eyes shut at night; put my face in a sling and let me suffer. The good news is that they have a treatment plan now so it shouldn't last too long.

Did the Dr. tell you WHAT your diagnosis was? Sure sounds like Bells Palsey. My Ex had that. It won't go away that fast, but the steroids should help you get there.
