I just don't feel like I deserve a good job, friends or boyfriends. I would like to feel better about myself but something inside keeps saying "you're not worth it". Am I really NOT worthy of good things in my life?

Everyone is entitled to good things. Sounds like you have some personal issues that you need work out. Talk to someone. If you are worthy enough to be alive then you are worthy enough to enjoy the things that life brings. Everyone has good days and everyone has bad days. I look at this way-(nothing lasts forever. If a day is going bad, that day can only last for 24 hours, not forever. The good days in life outweigh the bad) Think about it.

everyone is worthy of good things in their life some may not appreciate them as much right now but sooomer or later youll see that it was what you need all along is those great people helping you out along the way even if you dont notice it right now. everyone deserves someone they can count on . a way to change is to open up to those people and let them now that you wanna change and f they can help it will also bring you closer to them. You are worthy no matter how bad of a person you maybe or may not be

You already know what your problem is! YOU think you are not worth anything good in your life, and I cannot stress it enough!!!YOU!!!
No matter what anybody else thinks about your worth, it all comes down to what YOU think. What you need to do is some life coaching. I do not suggest you actually necessarily go and see a life coach. What you can do though, is what I did. I cannot afford to pay the actual life coach for their time, so I choose to read books instead. It certainly helps me get a healthier perspective on my own worth when I need it.
I really like Fiona Harrold's books, and you can get them really cheap off eBay.
Good luck!

The thing is... you are happy the way you are.. maybe people are questioning you cause you are not the way THEY are... But that's ok, be yourself.. and remember the ggod things in life don't have a price tag or a dollar value.. the good things in life could be playing in the yard with your dog, or hanging out with family......

Your not sabatoging yoursefl... your doing exactly what you want to do... it's that simple.

ok, I know you get this inner voice sabotaging you but you need to realize that you deserve the very best life has to offer. Somehow you need deprogramming. A really good therapist, motivational tapes are great, surround yourself with positive people, sometimes there are groups that meet check with your local mental health center.
You have taken the first step, you know you deserve and are worthy of good things - go for it now!

I highly doubt it, but I really don't think I know enough about you to make that kind of judgement. What is it about you that makes you think you don't deserve good things?

Do you spit in people's food when they're not looking? Do you knock over old ladies trying to cross the street? Does it make you giddy inside when a little kid drops his ice cream cone and starts bawling?

I mean, there's got to be something really dark hidden in your past to warrant such a low opinion of yourself. So come on, out with it! I'm waiting... :)

of course you're worth good things in life. who more than you is worth good things in life? usually people who feel unworthy are people pleasers and others run over them. get professional help if you can. you need assertiveness training. maybe you are depressed. if so see a doctor. often people like you were abused some time in their lives. if that's the case, definitely see a doctor or therapist. lots of luck. and remember you deserve good things like everyone else.

damage limitation psychology
at work here you deny your ability's
because you lack assertiveness and confidence
and dont want to fail ! Presently you only think you know you will fail but dont want it proved for real ,just go with a job that is quite demanding but wont push you flat out and you will get better at handling yourself in stressful situations your self confidence it gets better with age and experience

You lack self-esteem & confidence. You are worthy of all good things. Talk to some of your friends, family, maybe they can help boost your self-esteem & your confidence.
