Why would you want to buy a put or a call? Suppose you thought Apple's new I-Phone would be a huge boom for Apple, would you buy a put or a call on the stock? In order to answer this question, take a look at what Apple (trading symbol AAPL) is selling at right now and what it's puts and calls are selling for. With derivatives likes puts and calls, can an investor stand to make a lot of money with a minimal cash investment? Why? What about if he/she guesses wrong, do they loss a lot of money?

My SO and I have been together for almost 17 years, we own a house, cars, bills and all that goes with a long term committed relationship. ATM we have a lot of bills and because of everything from my job to the price of gas the bills are out of hand. I know from past conversations that he doesn't like to talk about money, but stupid me opened that can of worms last night.
so the question is, how much do you tell your mate about something they don't want to hear about? our money effects us both, but it seems I'm the only one to worry about it, how do I get him to talk like an adult about something he don't want to talk about at all.
I should note, he doesn't blame me or my job for our woes, we don't fight about anything, and even this wasn't a fight, but I left the conversation feeling like it was my fault and that I have to face this issue alone or listen to his rantings
how much does one have to carry alone to keep the peace?

First of all i say again i am advertising for religions because i dont care about religions
I am not offending anyone ,it is just an argument
But you say that you are sure that God deosnt exist
but are you 100% sure? of course no becasue no one knows the absolute truth
so lets say that there 1% chance that God exists
wouldnt it be worth it to seek God?
Because if u dont believe god then you know that you will die and that's it
but what the 1% chance was right,and God was real and you find out that you wasted your time on earth and you miss the chance to be with God for eternity
especially that God,for the one who say that we will not folllow God and stay in Fear, loves us and he wants us to love him
and all his laws bring us life
as i said before love is life ,love ur enemy is life so
i was wondering ,and please dont take it as an offence or as i am defying you,why do you honestly refuse God

THE KNOB

A woman visited her plastic surgeon who told her about a new procedure called 'The Knob,' where a small knob is placed at the top of the woman's head and could be turned to tighten up her skin and produce the effect of a brand new face-lift.

Of course, the woman wanted 'The Knob.'

Over the course of the years, the woman tightened the knob, and the effects were wonderful, the woman remained young looking and vibrant.

After fifteen years, the woman returned to the surgeon with two problems. 'All these years, everything has been working just fine. I've had to turn the knob many times and I've always loved the results. But now I've developed two annoying problems: First, I have these terrible bags under my eyes and the knob won't get rid of them.'

The doctor looked at her closely and said, 'Those aren't bags, those are your breasts.'

She said, 'Well, I guess there's no point in asking about the goatee.'

Not literally crapped on. A couple years ago, while I was dating a Jewish guy, we rode around the city and gave out sandwiches to homeless people. One guy shouted at me to shove the sandwich "up my @ss". I was never the same again...

A guy walks into a bar and rudely demands a shot of 12-yr old scotch.

The bartender thinks "this guy doesn't know the difference," so he pours a shot of 2-year old scotch.

The patron takes one sip and spits it out. He promptly hollers at the bartender I said 12-year old scotch, you bozo!"

Still unimpressed the bartender pours some 6-year old scotch.
The patron takes a sip...same reaction.

But the bartender still doesn't believe the patron knows the difference. So he pours a shot of 10-year old scotch. Again, same reaction from the patron.

Finally, the bartender is convinced. He pours the patron a glass of 12-year-old scotch. The patron takes a sip and is most satisfied.

All the while this has been going on, a drunk at the end of the bar has been watching.

He slides a shot glass down the bar to the patron and drunkedly says:
"Shay mishter, tashte this!" The patron obliges...he promptly spits it out.

"That tastes like pee!," he shoots back at the drunk.

The drunk replies: "It ish. Now how old am I?"

I do sales work and another guy in the office sells the same type of jobs and projects that i do. He is very jealous of me and doesnt like the competition. He has back stabbed me, turned some employees against me, has physically threatened me,and has invited me outside. He is also hateful to me and very unfriendly and doesnt speak unless it is to insult me. He out weighs me by about 80 lbs or more and is a couple inches taller but he is older and out of shape, while I am in great shape. He is about 60 years old and im mid 50's.
Should I just confront him and take him outside like he wants, talk to the boss, get an attorney, or quit? If i quit then he achieved his goal. By the way, the guy is a hard worker, sells lots of work, and althought the owners have even critized him and assured me that everyone knows how he is, they put the mighty dollar first and dont do anything about him. what do i do?

OK, here in the UK we have a show called "I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here" that comes on once a year [i think].
Celebrities have to live in a jungle for two weeks, live in terrible condition surrounded by rats and insects, and do disgusting/scary tasks to get food for the camp.

[Johnny Rotten was actually on it a while ago]

she yells at me for the stupidest things, like asking if i can go to my friends house or to the mall, and she yells at me if i try to compromise or something. she always has to have it her way, and if i disagree she yells at me and then i lock myself in the upstairs bathroom and cry because if i close my bedroom door she screams at me. i told her that punishing me for a bad quiz grade doesnt do anything because it's not going to do anything for me because everyone does bad on a test every once in a while and she knew i was right and still screamed her head off at me. i honestly think shes got something wrong with her because she yells at me for everything and i cry like once a day because of her. she picks on my mistakes and CONSTANTLY reminds me of them. and i didnt want to go to dinner on thanksgiving since i was sick and she didnt believe me, and this other event was coming up and she said, are you going to make sure you have a stomache ache for that too? is she verbally abusive?

Will doing weight training for my legs help me jump higher. Like doing leg curls, leg extensions, lunges, seated calf raises, and squats. And i do some kenistetic exercises also. Please help, i know its strenghtening the muscle but by making it stronger will it enable me to jump higher
