I do. My grandmother used to make the best fruitcake. You could build a house with that stuff. I miss those days.

Personally I prefer a fruitcake that is mostly cake and very little fruit....like Stollen, the German Christmas cake that is made with nuts, spices and fruits soaked in rum

actually there was this thing on the history channel about it earlier.. my dad made me watch it... they make 325,000 fruit cakes between jan. - jun. and let them sit for like 6 months to soak up the juices... which sounds really disgusting to me.. but i guess whoever buys all those fruitcakes must like them or something... so yeah

Only if there is no Marzipan, green thingys (mint or other yuk flavor), red thingys (that are not cherries), no powdered sugar on top-(oops! that's Stohlen), excessive sugar(y),and no alcohol........Yeah, that about does it.
Oh, and one other thing, no raisins either.
Have had delicious fruit cake-home made in the U.S.A.,which actually had some cake as an actual ingredient; mixed with natural fruits and nuts.

Whatch out and never put them in the regular trash or you will get fined by the EPA and a big cleanup bill from Haz-Mat

I quite enjoy light fruit cake. I loathe Dundee cake and dark fruit cake with treacle in it..eeeeuw

Mainly older people I think - I have to make a Christmas cake every year for my bf's stepdad because he loves it so much! I can't bear it personally.
