That a person should not accept another persons blood so they could survive?
Speaking of Jahovas Witnesses.
Just read a news story - again - about a J.W refusing transfusions and of course, this 14 year old died.
Now, is 14 years of age really mature enough to decide his own fate? Is he really knowledgable on his religion or was it force fed to him when he found out he had Leukemia?
I'm sorry - if it came between my child dying or a transfusion to save her, heck yeah i'd say transfusion.
Doesn't mean God is gonna spit her out of his mouth so this topic peters me.
But, i'll stay nice and calm and see what people have to say and all i am looking for is where this all stems from and why, if there is an answer to why.

The teacher in Sudan asked the students to vote to name the teddy bear. The students picked the name, not the teacher. So the students are the ones that named the teddy bear "mohammed" right? Shouldn't the students all be executed?
Seems fair.

Ive always wanted to know, if a fly was like, in a car, does it have to work really hard to keep up with the speed of the car or does it just hover like it was in a stationary room. I used to think that it would have to work really hard because the car is moving really fast, and we dont work hard because we are sitting down on seats. I hope it can be solved!?

I have been frequently told that the actions of a select few muslims make the rest of Islam look bad. This doesn't sound like a select few to me, it sounds like the rank and file. . . How do you rationalize this?

KHARTOUM, Sudan (AP) - Thousands of Sudanese, many armed with clubs and knives, rallied Friday in a central square and demanded the execution of a British teacher convicted of insulting Islam for allowing her students to name a teddy bear "Muhammad."

The protesters streamed out of mosques after Friday sermons, as pickup trucks with loudspeakers blared messages against Gillian Gibbons, the teacher who was sentenced Thursday to 15 days in prison and deportation.

They massed in central Martyrs Square, outside the presidential palace, where hundreds of riot police were deployed, although they did not attempt to stop the rally.

They called for Gibbons' execution, saying, "No tolerance: Execution," and "Kill her, kill her by firing squad."

I accidentally changed the setting for the dpi on my scanner and now I can't figure out what the setting needs to be. The scans come out grainy at 1200MB. I tried setting it at a higher dpi, 2400, and it states that I am scanning at too many MB. Any suggestions? Could it be something else that is wrong with the scanner?

For all which believes to exists, exists within it's imagination. For all which is seen, all which is heard, all which felt, all which known, all which is, cannot be trusted. Logic says: all which is, is. Sometimes: all which is, is not. Though it sounds illogical, it cannot be proven wrong. For there is no proof of that which is, there is no proof of that which isn't. When right is wrong and wrong is right, neither exist. We have two hands, on one hand are all the people which believe in God, on the other hand we have all the people who don't believe in God. Both hands look the same, but they aren't. Place your hands together, and the logic behind basic mathematics will say: negative wins and the result is that God does not exist. Do the same for existence and the results will be the same. We live in a world more hollow than our hearts and minds. We worship an empty book, for every page is blank with contradiction after contradiction. When all is said and done, evil governs evil.

I have a lot of songs (respectively); about 5,000. I want to free up some of the memory space so I the computer will function faster.

How would I back up most of my library to the hard-drive without having them on the computer? My computer is slowing down.

Also, I would like to be able to plug my hard-drive in and then listen to the music on the hard-drive through iTunes too.

Is there any way that I can do this?

Thanks a lot!

The Ottoman Empire was a multicultural empire, with Turks, Greeks, Romanians, Arabs, and others in powerful positions.

As time went on, the Ottoman Empire became more technologically sophisticated compared to Western Europe.

The center of the Ottoman Empire was in Turkey, and at its height the Empire ruled over Greece, Serbia, Egypt, and most of the Arab world.

Other multi-ethnic empires, like the Austro-Hungarian empire, did not want Greeks and Serbs to revolt from the Ottomans.
