If a disheveled man in urine-stained trousers stands on a street corner and talks to beings nobody else sees, we call him crazy and pump him full of Thorazine.
If the same man, clean and pressed, stands in a certain building and talks to beings nobody else sees, we call him spiritual and elect him to office.

The stoner can give an unbiased tale on their experince, because of the high their brains do not percieve the preconcieved assumptions automatically.
A pious man who sees God may have preconcieved assumptions in their mind and therefore they version may not be as accurate.
Also I agree defianetly taste in clothes.
I would trust the stoner first if he and the pious man were in the exact same situation at the exact same time, because it would be harder for the devil to full an open mind than a closed one, no matter how good the intentions.
