i went to the gym a couple days ago then after thanksgiving, i woke up and my shoulder hurt as well as part of my back and arm. I dont know if i slept on it wrong or something. I have pain in my arm when i move it certain ways as well as my back and feel some tension in my elbow. Is it a rotator cuff, dislocation, what?

I am a hispanic 28/m from Los Angeles and I am also best friends with a 20/f from Los Angeles but I am really in love with her. I already told her that I want something serious with her, but she says she only sees me as a brother. Next month she is flying to Kansas to meet this guy that she has been talking to for 7 months. She says that they have a lot in common, and she wants to see if they have the same chemistry once they meet in person. She says that if they get along, that she might end up in a serious relationship with him. She says that I am her best friend, but she still lets me hold her, and she also lets me rub her back, her legs and her feet. I tell her that I love her, and she smilles when I say that. What should I do? Is there any way I can win her over? I am really worried if she ends up with this guy. If any one has any suggestions, please let me know, because I just feel so depressed.

I am in an interracial marriage and my dad and I have been writing back and forth trying to talk things out. Today, this is the email I got. (attached below along with the more details b/c it's long)..so what's your opinion of this? How would you react?? It hurt me and I haven't and can't share it w/ my husband for fear of his reaction.


Perhaps during the 18 or so years that we lived under the same roof,that I didnt make myself perfectly clear.Dont bring and ******* or zebras into my life.I dont need that.Over the years i have worked and been around many of black men.Everyone of them have the same goals in life.Marry a white woman,milk her of all they can get,leave broke PG and head on down the road,to another victum.all the while they have several other women that they are having an affair with,and getting as many as they can PG they dont care who,or if the bills get paid,nor do they pay any support to any of them.they keep moving on to one place or another,so no law

my family keeps bugging me telling me i need to be making more than my 31,000 salary, but i LOVE my job! i work w/ vicitms of domestic violence. and i knew getting my BA in psych wasnt gonna pay the big bills, unless i work w/ child protection services or obtain a masters, both of which i do not want to do.

i feel like i'm doing okay: i have an apartment (i currently share w/ my boyfriend, but i've been out of the home since i wa 24y/o and i'm now 26) i have a reliable car. i have 1800 CC debt, which is not good, but not in the 10000 either.

am i really such a loser? i really dont know

If i buy one will it consume my life or enhance it? I have serious reservations that it will just suck up all my time and i'll miss out on other things. Games like oblivion for example are surely massive time sponges, should i just avoid this game and go for shorter and more linear games? (eg uncharted)

An aquaintance i have in my life has a 2 yr old kid and suffers from depression ALOT. She is a single mother of her son and not physically able to do some things that you and i would be able to do, cause of her disability from birth. She will correct him and tell him "no" and he laughs at her and continues to do exactly what she told him not to do. She is at her whits end with him, but she doesnt want to spank him, she has never believed in it. Because she suffers from depression she gets aggravated alot easier than normal and she will sometimes at 5 o clock in the afternoon put him to bed, but he does go to sleep. But is it wrong in anyones eyes for her to put him to bed and basically just "get rid of him" when she is aggravted. I sometimes look at it as her putting her responsibility off and not wanting to deal with it and i feel you cant do that as a parent, other than that she is a great mother. What can she do about his behavioral problems?...Any one got any discipline techniques
