In the pres. succession line,v.p.,speaker,senate pres.,etc. Why is the chief justice of the supreme court not in that list? Some of those ranked 13th or 14th would not know more than the chief justice, or am I incorrect? Thanks for the help!

I have a problem with my fingernails. They are only about 1/4 inch long, but they are curling under. What could be the cause of this? I know nails curl under when they get really long, but mine aren't that long. It is only on 1 finger on my right hand and 3 fingers on my left hand. And idea why this is happening?

i have a few things i think of to be a tradition of example; my friend and her mom come down from Illinois the day after Christmas. this has been going on for 3 years now. [this winter break will be the 3 time. would you call this a tradition? also, if there comes a time and they do not come would it no longer be a tradition?
basically how long do you have to do something before you can call it a tradition?

A friend of mine, I recently discovered, frequently eats grass, pencil shavings, erasers, and paper. He says that he eats grass because he likes the taste, but he eats paper when he is upset. I have seen him eat grass quite often, as well as a soft plastic knife (albeit very slowly, and he only managed the tip), a wedge-cap eraser, and almost half of a paper tablecloth. It sounds comical, but since seeing him eat the tablecloth I've been sort of worried. Does he have pica? Are these habits a risk to his health? Is there some sort of psychological reason for his compulsions to eat non-food substances? Any sort of input would be greatly appreciated.

my friend owes me $300... he spilled water all over my phone and ruined it... i had him sign a contract friday nov. 16th, 2007 stating that he'll pay me no later then sunday nov. 25th, 2007 i also gave him a copy of the contract and a copy of the purchase contract of my phone... i went to his house, tried calling him, even going to his work, but it turns out that he doesn't even work there, he's avoiding me... what should i do? will this cost me any money??? please help!!! how can i take someone to court in richfield, mn?

Ive always been very shy, and recent;y me and my best friend started hanging aorund with a new group of people, but i rely hate one of the girls.Shes very loud, cool and confident. Shes become best friends though now with my best friend, shes very bossy and is with my friend all the time now they dont spend a day apart, i think it staretd with her now liking me becasue she was jelous as she thought i got in the way as i was always with my friend when she wanted 2 be.But shes jsut so rude and mean to me it really upsets me,shes always asking me favours and yet she still thinks she can be rude to me. She will give are other friends presents while im there and completly ignore me.*Asks mr to model for her with some other girls which im doing her as a favour and yet she expect me to drive them all around town picking others up,get a train to london aswell which is going to cost about £30
