I am making pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving dinner. I just got back from the store and realized that I forgot the Allspice. Is there anything I can substitute with?

My daughter amy whos 12yrs old told me her older cousins was beating her up, So out of anger i teached her to kick them where it hurts, That was six months ago. Now my friends son told her that she kicked him afew times and she had one of her friends over and right infront of me she kicked him in groin over the remote.... i punished her and told her "You only kick a boy there if hes hitting you or your in danger",

That didnt seem to stop her, She kicked one boy in school and got in some trouble. She tells me he touched her which i know how boys are but i cant seem to believe her... what do i do.... I was young once to and yes i kicked boys more than twice just cause i wanted to, but i feel horriable about it now. I didnt know how much pain it could cause let-alone destroy his stuff for kids in the future...

what do i do to stop her from being a ball kicker...LoL

My friend was baby sitting. He was going to take a child in to the hospital because he was sick. The doctor and hospital said no he couldn't because he was not the father. I am looking for this law in California. I mean if a child is sick why would they take him in? does anyone know where to find this law . God bless Anthony

So today while I was meditating...

I was laying in a blanket under the sun and it started to rain. When the rain lifted I heard a wolf growling. It started to run at me, but for some reason I closed my eyes and stood still. A beam of light suddenly came from my body and the wolf stopped. It starred at me for what seemed to be hours. Next thing I know an indian man approaches me and tells me that I was once a part of him. He then says that my light can save many. I must find my light.

I am not Native American at all. I am a white girl whose family comes from Denmark, Sweeden, Germany, and France.

What would you make of this vision/dream?????

My dreamy crush asked me to homecoming. His locker is right next to mine. As I was opening my locker i smashed him in the face and knocked one of his teeth out. He started choking on the tooth and jumping up and down for help. I thought he was just excited for homecoming so I hugged him and was jumping up and down with him. I accidentally pulled a heimlich manuever on him and broke his rib but did end up getting the tooth out. Even though I saved his life his hes really mad and hasn't said anything about homecoming. Are we still going together?

I have seen on here many times the quote by Ignatius where he mentions the catholic church. However is this church the Roman Catholic Church? I propose the answer is no. It means literally what he said, a universal church of all believers. He says where Jesus is the universal (catholic) church is there. However since this was over 200 years before the RCC came into existence how could he be referring to them?

"Let no one do anything of concern to the Church without the bishop. Let that be considered a valid Eucharist which is celebrated by the bishop or by one whom he ordains [i.e., a presbyter]. Wherever the bishop appears, let the people be there; just as wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the universal Church" (Letter to the Smyrneans 8:2 [A.D. 110]).

(I took a small liberty with the above quote. In the original Ignatius says catholic. Catholic theologians do not tranlsate this word and capatilize it. Which it was not orignaly. Thus I changed it to universal which is its meaning)
