no... you don't get muscle fat muscle..its under the fat..it just helps repair damaged muscle tissue (which is what happens everyday and when you work) but drinking the extra protein helps heal faster and better...

No. This is a myth. My dad use to be a body builder and he just told me this.

Different protein drinks do different things
It boost your matabolism which burns white body fat (stored body fat) and turns it into brown body fat (baby fat) which we pee out.
It also puts more protein into your system so that your muscles can grow.
So to answer your question, negative, protein drinks do not build muscle on top of fat.

Protein does not build muscle. It just taxes your liver to filter it out and dispose of it. Muscle comes from a good diet and using the muscle. Muscle is water. Be sure to drink lots of water during and after workouts.
