no, i don't consider a teenage not using drugs a miracle. i consider it common sense. people who use drugs defy all logic. they know it defies reason and they still do it. that's the real miracle.

There are no miracles, just phenomena for which the cause is not understood. Sometimes, an explanation is later determined or discovered.

Here's a non-spritual "miracle" example. The Miracle Mets had great pitching (Seaver, Koosman, even a young Nolan Ryan in the pen), it's just that no one knew who these guys were in 1969. The team caught fire late in the year, and the rest is history. Miracle? In hindsight, no.

In the sense that much of life is itself pretty miraculous, and that a new baby is a miracle of its own, yes. But not in the sense of the laws of nature being circumvented, no.
