My mom's friend at work is getting rid of her dog.
My mom's friend lives with her mother, who is old
& weak, & the dog wants to play, & sometimes
knocks the mother over, who hates the dog.
The dog is a 1 year old chocolate lab.
It already has a name.
My mom was thinking about getting it,
but we have three cats.
Will a lab & the cats get along?

ok on wednesday i started my period that was 14 days late and i dont know why. usually i am light on my first day..but for some reason i was heavier than normal...then yesterday i was in soo much agony with it i cried for about an hour and a half. i'll usually slow down on the 3-4th day, but im on my 3rd day and there is no sign of bleeding slowing down. i have a doctors appointment next friday, and iam only 16, i get dizzy and go pale because of how much blood i lose and i had anemia anyway so this doesnt help. i normally last 6-7 days so i still have another 3-4 days left. any suggestions on how to help my period slow down? thanks everyone xx

Why do we have so many freckles compared to other races? I've never seen a latino, black, or asian person with freckles..(well maybe just a FEW). I used to have so many freckles...then they just went away o_O?

Mr. & Mrs. Smith had been back from their honeymoon for two weeks when Mr. Smith came home from work and said to his blonde wife that he had invited 4 of his friends from the office home for dinner on Friday night.

Mrs. Smith was a bit apprehensive and asked if she must cook a meal for the four. Mr. Smith explained that there would be eight coming because each would bring his wife or a date. Since this was there first party, he consoled her by saying that all she has to do was get some Chinese food in and perhaps she could bake a cake. This sounded like a good idea, and they sat down and decided what Chinese food to get.

Friday morning his wife called the office in tears. She explained that the only cake recipe she had would only feed six.

Her hubby said, "Why don't you just double the recipe?"

She decided that was a good idea.

At four, hubby got another phone call -- this time quite frantic.

"I just can't do it," the wife weeped. "It's impossible."

"Now, now, what's the matter?"

"Well, the recipe calls for two eggs..."

"So, you use FOUR eggs. Don't you have them?

"Yes -- Then it needs 4 cups of flour."

"Well," hubby said rather testily, "you will have to use 8 cups of flour -- what is the problem?"

"It isn't the ingredients," sobbed his wife, "it says that the cake must be baked at 350 degrees and I have checked the oven and I can't turn the heat up to 700 degrees!"

I dont drive my car much. However, i returned to it this morning at 4am, heavy coat of frosting. I stuck the demister on (air con), left the car running with the door open, whilst i cleared the ice off the windows.
I noticed there was water droplets on the inside of the windscreen. Is this normal? The last time i drove it was on Tues.

I don't think there is any obvious areas in the car that there maybe a leak. Perhaps it may just be normal due to the inside/outside temp differences.

do you know how to hold a lead when walking the dog? because i have the loop around my wrist but other doggy friends have said to have the top of the loop on your thumb and hold the rest of it in your palm is this right? do you have any pics of thhe right way to hold a lead? my dog is only a king charles so he dosnt pull much

I had a loan of £500 with the Money Shop over 12 months which is now paid off. Money went missing from my account. It's shown today as being £270 taken off my debit card by 1st Credit. They say they were told to do this by Money Shop as I owe money, which I don't.
Can they take money off my car without my permission or without even letting me know! Direct Debit you have to be told of changes 7 days in advance so is it same for debit card? I can't believe they can just take that money when they want!
