Why do we have so many freckles compared to other races? I've never seen a latino, black, or asian person with freckles..(well maybe just a FEW). I used to have so many freckles...then they just went away o_O?

Freckles are harmless tan, brown or black flat spots that appear on areas of skin that have been exposed to the sun. Freckles are more common in those with lighter skin, red or blond hair, and in those who sunburn easily. Unlike age spots, freckles are common in childhood and fade in the winter.

Freckles are commonly found on the face and hands, and any other part of the body that has been overexposed to the sun. Freckles are among the many signs of photoaging. Photoaging occurs when excessive sun exposure speeds the skin's natural aging process.

The white people you refer to are from genetic stock that originally lived in the latitudes far from the equator. Their ancestors did not need protection from the sun but did need to make the most of the weaker sunlight to manufacture vitamin D in the skin. It is genetic. They thus have an inadequate layer of pigmentation in the skin and the little that is present comes out as freckles.
I should know, I have red hair, blue eyes and can't take much sunlight before I burn.

Because, what they don't tell you, is back in Prehistoric times when we were still evolving, -even up to the 1776 American Revolutionary War, almost the whole world was forested. White people, as many other peoples, are evolved to be living in forests. We didn't get as many freckles, because we didn't go in the sun very much.

You should use a foaming skin cleanser, but I don't think you should put anything on (like creams) it until you know what it is because it could have a reaction and get worse. It could just be reverse freckles, which is nothing serious...it's just places where the melanin in your skin color has faded away. But just in case, see a doctor.

Hahah.
I have lots of freckles.
I get tons more of them in the summer.
They're caused by the sun.
When really pale, complex skinned
white people, such as myself,
go out in the sun, we don't tan.
We get freckles.

i think because freckles are dark pigment patches & so it stands out on white people. if your skin i sdarker chances are you don't have em. real fair people, the kind that burn easily, usually have them.

They are most often found in people with light complexions and in some families, they are an hereditary (genetic) trait
