I have a Seiko watch that was given to me as a gift a few years ago...now the battery is dead and I can't figure out how to replace it (I don't have the manual). It was purchased online so I can't really bring it to the store I got it from.

It looks like a special tool is needed to unscrew the back of the watch on the edges. I'm just not sure what type of store to bring it to - a watch stand, a jeweler, or what? Any ideas would be helpful.

In my hometown, whenever someone is arrested, the officers don't read them their miranda rights. I thought it was the law that this was supposed to happen upon arrest. How can they get away with it?

yes, i know many of you think ugg's are ugly. i do think they are overrated... but they're so comfortable and cute with certain things. and versatile and easy to wear. (i just hate when people wear them with sweatpants... and it annoys me too when girls wear them with miniskirts)
anyways, does anyone have these boots from wet seal?

how is the quality and the comfort? i mean they're only 20 bucks, so i'm thinking about getting them.

She was a stray/possible Maine Coon mix and was outdoors before she adopted our house as her home. She fights and claws and tears me up when I try to give her needed medications (right now, ear drops) from the vets. She hates being picked up and is about 7 years old (vets approximation), so I doubt that'll change. Any suggestions on how to make this an easier process?

I was in a car accident that was the other drivers fault and have filed a claim through their insurance (State Farm). I called today to see what the status was so I can get my car fixed and they said they haven't been able to get a hold of the driver to verify fault so I have to wait until they get ahold of him before they will approve any work to be done on my car. This happened almost 2 weeks ago. The adjuster said that they keep calling and leaving a message for the driver to get a hold of them, but he doesn't return their call. Well obviously he is not going to be in a rush because the accident was his fault. So my question is do I just have to sit here and wait for them to finally get ahold of him? Is there a time limit or am I just screwed until they finally decide to get ahold of the driver? My car is drivable, its just ugly because there is a big dent in the side of the door.
