So we just moved in to our new apartment and our fridge isn't going to be delivered until next week. What are some meals that I can cook daily without worrying that it will spoil?

We've done the whole hamburger helper thing and we're frankly sick of that. I go to the grocery store everyday because it's just around the corner, but I am running out of ideas. HELP.

I just rented a new apartment that I will be moving into in January. This will be the first time I will have to pay for gas heating, and I have NO clue as to what that will cost me per month. Does anyone have any ideas?? It is about 830 square feet, and it is in the south (where it doesn't get AS cold, but still...) I had electric heat before, and my complex paid for our gas bills every month, so I have no idea what the costs are. Any suggestions, or ideas, would be greatly appreciated! I just want to know what I am getting into before I get into it! Thanks so much, in advance.

I'm on the Eastern Seaboard of the US and have no idea what semi-formal dress is here compared to Europe. I've been invited to a semi-formal dinner with my husbands work colleagues and am not sure how much to dress up or down.
I was thinking a sleeveless cerise linen shift dress with a turquoise shawl and shoes with jewelery to match the shawl and shoes. This would be fine in Europe but will it be OK in the US?

okay well i am adopted..i was at about a month old. my birth mom was going to keep me..she did for 2 weeks..but then put me up for adoption because it was too hard.

anyway..people always ask me if i want to meet my mom and i just say not really..i mean i have a great loving family, awesome firends, an amazing boyfriend..just a great life. people seem to think it is so wierd that i dont go out and look for my mom. i love my mom and dad now..whats the big deal? do you think this is wierd?

I am trying to understand the feelings of both the mother and the hopeful adoptive parents. I truly understand that the adoptive parents are going to feel devastated, especially if they have waited a long time for a baby. Yet, sometimes they sound really self-centered and selfish with feelings of entitlement to a baby to whom they have no legal claim (albiet there in unquestionably an emotional attachment). I also understand how a woman who is totally comitted to an "adoption plan" can change her mind the moment she lays eyes on her child. Is she a weak-minded woman who should have been able to make up her mind during pregnancy? Did she get caught up in an "adoption plan" not realizing that after giving birth that she would come face to face with her real human baby? Is she a scammer who was just trying to get money?

she is chewing her hair off her back ,back legs and her tail. her back is also kinda black. before we take ehr to a vet and spend tons of money we were curious if anyone knwos what it might be. we have tried hot spot stuff and it worked on her belly but no where else. she doesnt have a whole lot of hair on her back but we r not sure if that is from chewing or not we know her tail and her back end is from chewing tho. please help!!!! thank you
