I live in an apartment and have very old metal windows that slide on a track horizontally. They constantly have condensation on them and the tracks are developing mold. I told my landlord and all he said was "buy some mildew cleaner". That's the answer I was expecting, as he cares more about the rent check than anything else. Don't say move since I can't afford to...we're getting by and where I live is the cheapest apartments in town and we don't qualify for subsidized housing.

my father in law has always been interested in motor cars, he is a engineer, the problem is i just bought a project car 66 mustang. I've asked people certain questions on restoring the car and they have always suggested the way i would do things. the problem with my father in law is that he likes to go for the quick and cheap alternative of doing things "right". i'e reverting in floor pans as opposed to welding or using sheet metal over buying floor pans, or any primer in the shed compared to buying paint and spraying with a hvlp gun. how could i politely tell him that I'm doing it my way - keep in mind my car is in his driveway and i've only been married to his daughter for 6 months.

My laptop was running when the battery died...I have plugged the laptop in using the power cord but it won't turn on...There is a light for the battery that is green when the battery has power and red when it does not..The light remains red even when the laptop is plugged in...Does the battery just need to recharge? Or is it something else?? Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks

okay so just GIVING HIM the note was stressful enough for me, I MEAN MY HANDS WERE SHAKING and this was a big step for me. it was supposed to be from classmates to better friends and closer. and the letter wasnt like A LOVE LETTER POURING OUT MY FEELINGS FOR HIM, but it was really really really flirty and it asked him these weird fun questions like "are you part black? and how are tall are you" ( i know, its an inside joke dont laugh) and it was like a page long about other random stuff and the teacher TOOK IT after he only read ONE LINE (i heard him say this, he didnt say it to my face) but i dont get why she took it... I mean class didnt start yet when I gave it to him. I deliberatley said on the note "i dont want you to get in trouble for passing notes in class" so i gave it to him before class but she still took it. what if he thinks its a love letter?? afterclass, I walked past him and made eye contact but we both didnt know what to say to each other and just left. what do i do??

ive always been weird about opening up in relationships, trying not to get hurt...The last one noticed it and i allowed myself to trust him, really thought i could. He gave me no reason not to. We had so much fun together and HE was the first one to say he loved me. He broke up with me for what appared to be no reason. Ive started dating since but cant seem to get past the fact that this last guy seemed great and turned out not to be, so why would the next one be any different?

The universe is TOO GREAT to not be created.

Then they say....
God is TOO GREAT to be created.

Make up your minds! How is God exempt from the first claim? If EVERYTHING must be created, then how can you theists be so arrogant and hypocritical as to re-define "everything" to fit your needs so God can oh-so-nicely not be under it. So everything COMPLICATED needs a designer? Yet the designer is the MOST COMPLICATED thing *ever* and it doesn't need a designer?

Falling into your own traps theists. And you wonder why atheists don't just "have faith". Well, what I just said may have something to do with it.

I started playing guitar when I was 7 but I ended up quitting for lack of a teacher a few years later. I am now 18 and I want to start up again but I remember nothing. I want to play guitar right so I want to learn without taking shortcuts persay. By shortcuts I mean just learning tabs. In particular, I want to play blues music. I have me an electric guitar ( Ibanez GAX series). Does anyone have any advice on where to start?
