Get some of the plastic you put on the windows-- it works great!! Not only does it keep mold and condensation under control its a good insulator and keep your heating bill down.
Just go out to walmart in the home inprovement section. It is very inexpensive. You put this tape around your windows, stick the plastic to it and blow dry it to for a seal... then in the spring it is very easily removed!
GOOD LUCK!

I surely have the comparable subject with my abode, it has the previous aluminum abode windows that slide and the condinsation is undesirable. I surely have water dropplets on the interior the window superb from the physique. I surely have used an all objective cleanser with bleach in it (kroger form) . It worked, yet in basic terms for a quick time. In some abode windows i will see the mould attempting to return, besides the fact that some abode windows i'm no longer able to scrub the cleanser out (can no longer attain) and it only sits with the mould. Its disgusting. i've got faith the only subject to do is have the abode windows replaced with the aid of fact the condinsation is being brought about via the seals being previous and not protecting back moisture. It would not sound like your landlord may be prepared to place new abode windows in although. i'm going to examine back later and spot what all and sundry else has to assert, i choose an answer for that one. sturdy success.

You have to much condensation here. The winter condensation should be less the 40% or, the windows will run. I have five ceiling fans in the house to control this, I put them on slow running, backward, to control the moisture. I have radiator heat and no other way except a dehumidifier.
You ladlard told you this and, when you leave, he'll keep your deposit for the damages, I seen it happen.
Take pictures, have him sign an agreement that your not responsible, do something other then his word.
You couls also put in a small fan to blow against the windows.

The condensation happens usually during cold weather. The warmer interior air naturally holds more moisture which condenses onto the cold glass. Every week you should wipe down the edge of the window when you clean the glass. The ammonia in the glass cleaner will temporarily kill any mold, but you need to be persistent. You can use bleach, too, if you prefer, but be careful of your clothes.

Try to lower the humidity in the house. When you take a shower run the fan and keep it running for 20 minuets after. If you don't have a fan open the window while showering.
If that does not take care of it you can get that plastic window covering that will help insulate the windows some. You can buy it at WalMart.

I know it may not be whta you are looking for but try wiping them down everyday or every other day.
I would take pictures and show the landlord let him know he needs to fix it. You can report him, not sure the number but you can if he doesn't fix the problem. Mold is really bad for you to inhale and it can cause future respitory issues with you and your new baby.
Best of luck.
