The laptop is out of battery and I need the CD NOW! How can I take it out??

I figured it out by sticking the needle in the hole and it automatically came out!

Find a tiny hole on the CD tray's fron panel. Insert paper clip straight in until it touches "something" (maybe 1/4 inch). Then push lightly, the cd tray will pop open.

DO NOT just pull on the tray to try to pry it open, you will damage it.

Try looking at your CD Drive, There should be a small hole on the frontside of the cover. Take a safety pin or paper clip, and then poke the little hole. It should come open. I work on computer's for a living. I help people out like yourself.

Plugging it into the wall and turning the computer on should work.

You can also unbend a paper clip and put it in the hole on the drive to open the tray manually.

There should be a hole in the tray stick a pin or needle in it the door will open.

Recharge the battery or plug in the laptop to a power source.

Or just pull on the CD tray as hard as possible until it pops open.

If your CD drive, is detachable take it out. Then plug it to a extension cable. Connect it to another computer and take it out
