Mexico does absolutely nothing to stop the flow of illegal immigrant's leaving it's country. Why? Because money sent back to Mexico from illegal alien's working here in the United States is one of Mexico's number one source's of income. When President Fox was in office, he said illegal immigrant's were "hero's". It's much easier to encourage your people to go someplace else and send back money instead of cleaning up your country and taking care of them yourself. By encouraging illegal immigrant's to enter the United States, Mexico is washing it's hands clean of it's problems, and when anyone complains about it, Mexico plays the "racist" card. Why should Mexico put the effort into developing it's infrastructure and providing for it's people, when they can just come to the United States and become our problem!

Illegal immigration into Mexico? Absolutely. Illegals in Mexico get treated like s***.
Illegal immigration out of Mexico. Not at all. They encourage it. Money sent home by immigrants (legal and illegal) is Mexico's 2nd biggest source of income.

Illegal immigration into their country is treated extremely harshly, however they produce pamphlets on how to get here from there, how much water will be needed and what trails to take. All they want is the money that their nationals send home. And then they don't have to deal with the political unrest that their people should be spouting to them instead of in our country. It's called get rid of the peasants and the rich live happily ever after.

Mexico has a very tough immigration policy. If you are asking if they do anything to stop their citizens from illegally entering our country, the answer is no, in fact they encourage them to.

They are tough on illegal immigration from Central America but they don't do anything to stop illegal Mexicans from crossing to the US.

Mexico hates Illegal immigration, they work hard to protect their southern border. There have been reports that they throw them in jail. Many immigrants report that they are beaten and robbed by the police or military who catch them.

Mexico's feelings is that the US is THE dumping ground for their poor and uneducated and they want to continue pointing the way north to everyone of them. On this side of the border, Mr. Bush is waving his hands for them to trample the border and come on over telling them to leave no child behind.

No, they actively promote it. Just like they actively promote drug running across their borders.
Consider the fact that the Mexican govt provides illegals with Comic books showing how to cross the border and evade border enforcement. (they have to be comic books because many illegals are illiterate). They have also found some who were provided with GPS devices.
Mexico's biggest export is people who send money back to their home country from the USA.

i can't speak for all of mexico, but as a mexican descendant, i'll try to represent the country accurately.
basically, they feel that the immigration policies are too strict and need to be loosened. they do not support the drug cartels, however, they do support the desperate, needy immigrants who come only to work and live peacefully. they seem to be against mass deportation. they also oppose the fence since they believe a fence or wall should be a dual decision between the nations it separates. there is much hostility and tension over this issue between the u.s. and mexico.

They want to rid the country of those they fear. Think what 15,000,000 people who are discontent could do to a corrupt country, if they decided to change things.
