Is it ok if we pet the monkeys to calm them?

I prefer using a blow dart on mine. If I'm going to own an exotic pet, then I want the whole experience... staking him out from the other side of the room, then when he's not expecting it... bam dart to the neck! He loves to cuddle for hours after that.

Monkeys are calm because all the monkeys that aren't calm are sent away to the Wicked Witch to become Evil Flying Monkeys. And no monkey wants to be an evil flying monkey. So those that become them are made an example to the others. And petting helps keep them calm. So go ahead and pet away.

I was praying about that earlier. . .

God told me that he drops trou, shows the monkeys his bright red azz & laughs a really high shrill God-laugh while pointing at the monkeys.

The monkeys, God told me, are so befuddled, they sit quietly on a branch and begin grooming each other, munching on the insects they pull from each other's fur.

I would def pet the monkeys. Antibacterial soap has reduced our body's ability to fight strange bacteria; petting monkeys would go a LONG WAY to putting that balance back where it belongs.

Maybe you should also lick one of their ears. That could calm them, too, right?

Stick them on an island with enough typewriters for each one to have a whirl at the keys. Veeeeery calming for monkeys.

That is how the monkeys were created. No other way to evade it but to accept it.

You don't attempt to "pet" animals who are in an agitated state. God can do what ever he wants about the moneys-he made them so they know him and he knows them. 8:)
