Where and with what school do you work with? do you traditionally homeschool without an outside entity? What makes what you do good? and what is the downside of it? I homeschool my 9 year old through virtual academy, and it is an awesome school and curriculum, we love it! wanted to see who else out there does too!

I keep have alot problems with vista. First the videocard driver keeps failing so the screen keeps going bank then it comes back and a error message tells me theres been a problem with the video driver. Then explorer.exe keeps crashing then the usb 2.0 stopped working untill i restarted the pc then they worked again.

My question is , Would i have these problems with windows xp sp2 ? i never have known problems like this when using xp.

It cant be any of my hardware because the pc is new the tft screen is and its just doing my head in.

I think vista was released to early without having the proper support. not many of the cames will play under vista or programs unless you run them under xp sp2 mode by going in to properties.

Also my hard disk space has vanished theres 20gig left of 120gig.

Also would xp pro be faster then vista i want to get the best use out of my 3ghz worth of core duo processor and my 1gig of ram.

We got a puppy last Sunday from a well known pet chain and when I took her to the vet 2 days ago, she was diagnosed with Giardia, hookworm and conjunctivitis. None of these ailments could have possibly been contracted while in our care... we do not have any other dogs, and our cat is healthy (she went to the vet on the same day). She has to take 2 medications and revisit the vet next weekend which will end up costing me well over $100.00. Why should I have to pay for this? She wasn't cheap, so shouldn't the pet store be selling heathy animals? We are attached to her so I do not want to give her back to the pet store, but I believe they should reimburse me for her vet bills... what do you guys think?

Friend has several !!! moving violations and tickets - a few years old. Wants to get his license back. Any way of doing restitution other than paying the fines? Is there any way some of them can be forgiven because they are so old? They are way past contesting and he admits they are his but just can't pay them all off. Does he just get used to never being able to drive again now that he is a bit (?) more mature??

Do you believe that the climate should be static? If it was 80degs last year at noon, it should be the same this year?

If you don't believe that the climate can be static, then it's either warming or cooling.

Why do you think warming is so bad?

Would you be happier if the world was cooling off at the rate that it's warming now? Could you live with the problems that global cooling would bring?

Don't you think warming is far, far, better than global cooling? After all, thousands are killed every year because of the cold. Far more than are killed by so called "global warming".

I'm looking into an owner-financed property. I noticed that the tax value is below the owner's asking price. I thought I was told before that for properties priced above tax value, lenders refuse to finance them later when you're ready to obtain a traditional mortgage. And that this is how a lot of these owner financed deals are doomed. But the seller says that tax value is just a value given by the county, and is often below actual purchase price, especially if the property has been very well maintained like this one has.

Am I misunderstanding the relation of tax value to sales price? I don't want to think badly of the seller or anything like that, in case that she's right and I'm wrong, you know?

BTW, the tax value is around $74,000 but asking price is $89,000. It's a very well maintained home, but I'm just not sure if something fishy is going on!

Now i know this might not be a bad thing, and i have never had the desire to go out and get wasted all the time... but it seems like i cant have more than 2 or 3 beers or a couple mix drinks before i start to feel a little lightheaded and a few more than that im in the puking danger territory, where i have to be careful or puking is imminent... so what gives? I weigh 180 pounds, so its not like im a lightweight, is there an underlying medical condition that could be causing this?
